Research and Investigations

The UFO Research Center of Pennsylvania (UFORCOP) is dedicated to researching case reports concerning the UFO phenomenon, paranormal events, crypto-zoology creature sightings, and Alien Abduction cases. UFORCOP operates two fully equipped mobile units in Eastern and Western Pennsylvania, enabling them to respond to reports quickly.

Group Update and Information Requests

UFORCOP is actively seeking information regarding sightings of Dog Man or Bigfoot in the Clearfield and Jefferson County areas of Pennsylvania. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact [email protected]. The organization also requests help in expanding its database of ritualistic incidents, including information on ritualistic crimes, personal accounts of cult encounters, animal or human sacrifice, and suspected ritual grounds. All information provided is kept strictly confidential.

Reporting an Event

Individuals wishing to report a UFO, strange creature, or paranormal event are instructed to send an email to one of the listed researchers or use the contact form on the UFORCOP website. It is requested that a phone number be included if a personal discussion is desired. Essential information to include in a report comprises: Your Name, Contact Phone Number or Email, Date and Time of Event, Event Location (City, County, State), Brief Description of Sighting, Number of Witnesses, Proximity to the Object, Object's Shape or Appearance, and any attached Photos, Drawings, Video, or EVP recordings. All submitted information is treated as strictly confidential.

Paranormal Round Table Event

A 'Paranormal Round Table' event is scheduled for April 18, 2015, from 9 am to 8 pm at the Alburtis Area Community Center in Alburtis, PA. Speakers will include representatives from Ghost Hunters Inc, Keystone Bigfoot Project, Legend Hunters, Phantoms and Monsters Fortean Research, and the UFO Research Center of Pennsylvania. The event will feature discussions on ghosts, paranormal phenomena, cryptozoology, UFOs, and high strangeness cases in Pennsylvania, with audience participation in open forums. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Albertis Lockridge Historical Society.

Crypto of PA

This section discusses the urban legend of 'Black Eyed Children' (or Black-Eyed Kids), described as supposed paranormal creatures resembling children with pale white skin and black eyes, often seen hitchhiking, panhandling, or encountered at homes. Tales of these entities have appeared in pop culture since the late 1990s.

Crypto-Zoology Information in Pennsylvania

UFORCOP is seeking information on sightings of Panthers, Mountain lions, Cougars, Thunderbirds, Large Snakes, Strange Creatures, and Bigfoot within Pennsylvania. Researchers like [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] are listed to receive such information, with the caveat that "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof that they are true."

Pennsylvania Legends

Two local legends are detailed:

• Dead Man's Creek (Girard, Erie County): The legend recounts the discovery of a dead man in the creek in 1861, dressed in an 1812 military uniform, with a slit throat. His ghost is said to haunt the creek, searching for his killer.
• Devil's Run (Penfield, Elk County): This tale describes three 18th-century trappers who encountered the Devil. Two escaped, but the third vanished. The ground they fled across became barren, and the area is known as Devil's Run.

UFORCOP: Cold Case Unit

The Cold Case Unit, comprised of independent investigators and researchers across multiple states, is dedicated to reopening and reviewing unsolved cases in Ufology, Crypto Zoology, and the Paranormal. Current cases of interest include the Todd Sees Case (Northumberland, PA), the Kecksburg Incident (Kecksburg, PA), the Brown Mountain Lights (Morganton, NC), the Dyatlov Pass Incident (Dyatlov Pass, RU), and Strange Creatures in Westmoreland County, PA. The unit notes unanswered questions and inconsistencies in timelines, evidence, and witness statements, suggesting that not all is as it seems. Pennsylvania Sightings Report - Feb 2015

The newsletter includes a list of counties in Pennsylvania and reports that 15 sighting reports were filed for the month of January 2015.

Request for Assistance (Page 3)

UFORCOP is requesting assistance in expanding its database of ritualistic incidents, seeking information on ritualistic crimes, cult encounters, human/animal sacrifice, and suspected ritual grounds. They are also looking for reports of mysterious lights or UFO sightings near nuclear power plants, military bases, or airport facilities, and specifically requesting information on creature sightings in Clearfield County and the Penfield area State Game Lands #331. Additionally, they are seeking reports of paranormal activity in or around Indian Burial Grounds or areas where Indigenous peoples encamped in Pennsylvania, along with detailed maps. Photographs of military trucks and equipment from the Kecksburg / Fireball Incident of December 9, 1965, are also sought. Seasoned independent researchers are invited to join the UFORCOP Cold Case Unit.
