UFO Meetings in Oslo

Sissel Tuveng has organized a series of UFO meetings in Oslo, held at Det Norske Teatret. Meetings are scheduled for October 10, November 7, and December 12, starting at 6:00 PM. These meetings will feature DVD documentaries on the UFO phenomenon and discussions about sightings.

Hessdalen 7-9 September 2007

An originally planned trip to 'UFO-Bygda' (Hessdalen) by Prosjekt Hessdalens Venner (PHV) and NETI was postponed by PHV. Due to a misunderstanding, NETI was not informed of the change, resulting in only Kjell Arne Høviskeland attending the rescheduled date. He did not witness the phenomenon but managed to re-interview Rutt Marry Moe. Poor weather conditions hampered visibility, and the trip is planned again for the following year.

Collaboration with UFO Norge

NETI and UFO Norge are exploring the possibility of a joint Nordic UFO conference in September 2008. They have already held two meetings, with another planned for late November. Further information will be provided as it becomes available. NETI currently has 99 members.

Article: Is This the Future of Flight?

Dutch engineers have proposed a new aircraft design, CleanEra, shaped like a flying saucer, aimed at being the most environmentally friendly motor-powered aircraft. While the final design may not be a literal saucer, it will significantly differ from current planes. The design utilizes ultralight materials for maximum lift and concealed engines to minimize air resistance. Strange Light Phenomenon on Monday, October 1st

A reader driving through Raufoss reported seeing a light that lasted about 10 seconds, appearing to move towards them, with a flame-like emission as it descended. Another witness in Roksvoll described a similar luminous ball moving over a hill, with a flame-like trail. This witness has previously seen mysterious lights and noted a strange crater in the snow on a previous occasion, suggesting a possible connection.

More Strange Lights

Rita Hoel Nerødegård from Kapp also reported seeing a strange light phenomenon on the same Monday evening while on a cabin trip in Skåbu. She described it as a 'flame tattoo'. She later realized it was the same phenomenon reported by others. She also observed several meteors that evening and wonders if they could be related. Another witness reported seeing a luminous ball in the sky over Odnes, described as being the size of a football and falling behind a shed.

More Strange Lights Over Totenvika

During a visit to Hessdalen in September, Kjell Arne interviewed Rutt Marry Moe. Moe acknowledges that some people may be tired of recounting their observations, mentioning her brother who stopped. She expresses a desire for UFO activity to increase again, as it would be ideal for researchers. Moe states she has little faith in humans being visited by extraterrestrials, finding it too fantastic, but would accept it if proven.

She is aware of four UFO observations in Hessdalen this year, having personally witnessed two of them, which were lights. She has seen a cigar-shaped object and triangular craft. Regarding the theory of round spheres being released from a larger craft, she believes it is possible, citing examples from Mexico and her own observations of larger craft releasing spheres.

Moe also recounts an experience of seeing a dark brown, round-bodied craft flying slowly upriver, which she initially mistook for a plane but realized had no wings. She estimated its length to be at least 40 meters. Erling Strand, who was with her, told her it could not have been a plane following the river. Kjell Arne suggested it was a cigar-shaped object.

UFOs in Fana

Torgeir Hansen, leader of the Norwegian organization for the study of extraterrestrial intelligence (NETI), reports seeing UFOs in Fana twice and claims to have communicated with them. He leads a NETI group with 110 members, about 20 of whom are in the Bergen area. He frequently gives lectures on UFOs.

Hansen describes an experience on a night in Fana when he saw seven UFOs appear simultaneously, flying in a line. The rearmost object made a maneuver before rejoining the formation. He thought, "If this is what I think it is, give me a sign!" A bright flash of light came from the foremost craft.

On another occasion, he saw two enormous, black objects in Fana, about two kilometers away. Against a snowy mountainside, their silhouettes were very clear. He estimated each object to be the size of a football field.

Telepathic Contact and Skepticism

Hansen, who works with sports facility maintenance by day, studies evidence of intelligent life beyond Earth in his free time. He is aware that many dismiss his views as superstitious but asserts that the evidence, including photos, films, and credible witness testimonies, is formidable. He believes that fakes are easily detected by experts.

He encounters healthy skepticism but finds most people are interested. He considers it unthinkable that humans are alone in the universe, citing mathematical estimates of numerous planets. He attributes the silence of many witnesses to fear of stigmatization, believing that 70 percent would admit to believing in UFOs if not for this fear.

Hansen understands skepticism, calling the phenomenon "mind blowing," but he is not skeptical himself because he has seen it. He does not believe UFOs pose a security risk, stating that if they wanted to harm humans, they could have done so long ago. He suggests their presence indicates a higher level of technology and consciousness.

Extraterrestrial Races and Government Secrecy

Hansen mentions a source within the American military claiming that the US military has cataloged over 50 extraterrestrial races, and this source has seen several of them, both alive and deceased. He also states that credible sources report humans have killed extraterrestrial beings, with Americans "shooting first and asking questions later."

A 1999 French report expressed concern over US secrecy, with French military leaders and scientists calling for more openness and cooperation.

Further Sightings and Concerns

Hansen estimates he has seen alien craft 15-16 times, including formations of four objects crossing each other and three objects flying over a hotel in Crete. These objects had powerful, multi-colored flashing lights. He has made most of his observations in the last ten years.

He is certain they are not stars or conventional aircraft, noting their intelligent flight patterns and signaling with lights. He believes they have characteristics unlike regular planes, often displaying a single, strong white light.

Free Energy and Motivation

Regarding why aliens come to Earth, Hansen speculates it is to re-establish contact and perhaps to help humanity achieve higher consciousness, possibly due to concern over human behavior.

He references a NATO background witness who saw documents in 1964 indicating four different civilizations were observing Earth. He also mentions decorated officer Robert Dean, who has researched UFOs for years.

The "Greys" are described as thin beings with large heads and large black eyes, similar to depictions in science fiction films. Hansen is unsure if anyone lives on Mars, suggesting that the green depiction of Martians in films is likely an old myth.

Hansen recounts that Dan Sherman of the NSA was reportedly trained to communicate with extraterrestrials and speaks of bases on the far side of the moon, with domed buildings and tall towers. He also mentions incidents in Peru where flights were delayed due to heavy UFO traffic.

He attributes the lack of UFO information in the news to government secrecy, driven by economic, religious, and fundamental beliefs about humanity's place in the universe. Hansen claims UFOs are powered by unknown, free energy sources on Earth, which could disrupt the oil and gas market.

Encouraging Pilots to Speak Out

Hansen's organization has repeatedly urged Norwegian pilots to share their sky observations. Many pilots reportedly remain silent due to non-disclosure agreements with former employers or are waiting until retirement.

Hansen, however, is firm in his belief, stating, "I know, I am convinced that there is other intelligent life," based on his own sightings.

1982: An Upside-Down Christmas Tree

A separate article recounts a UFO event in Hessdalen in 1982, where hundreds of people observed luminous objects. Mine worker Bjarne Lillevold described seeing an object for over half an hour at a distance of 70 meters. The object hovered 3-4 meters above the ground, emitting intense, glowing light. He compared its shape to an upside-down Christmas tree, with a red light at the bottom, blue-green in the middle, and diffuse reddish edges, but with sharp contours. It moved up and down like a yo-yo. The first sighting in Hessdalen was likely in September 1980, when a hunter saw three objects hovering silently during the day. Since then, the phenomenon has been continuously registered, with hundreds of people reporting sightings.
