Gro described it as a strange, uncomfortable sensation. The next day, Ingunn reported a luminous sphere entering her bedroom around 00:05. She described it as a yellow-green, intensely blinding light, about the size of a tennis ball, emitting a humming sound and moving in a jerky, clockwise pattern. It then exited through the open window. Later that day, while driving near Lillestrøm, Ingunn saw the same luminous sphere appear and follow her car for 10 minutes at the same speed, regardless of her driving. She described the experience as surreal and fascinating.

UFO Over Mississippi (August 31, 2005)

This article recounts an observation made by a passenger on Continental Flight 1741Y traveling from Mexico City to Newark. While passing over the Mississippi Delta, the passenger observed a stationary object described as a "coffin" or cylinder in black silhouette, surrounded by vibrating air. The object was estimated to be 10x2 meters and was seen at an altitude of over 40,000 feet, moving parallel to the aircraft at approximately 800 km/hour. The witness found it unlikely to be an insect given its speed and altitude. The report notes that the pilots did not officially report the sighting.

Seattle Sighting (July 13, 2005)

A report from the Seattle area describes a bizarre object witnessed by an aerospace engineer and other witnesses. The object was seen hovering slowly in rush-hour traffic east of downtown Seattle. The witnesses were able to observe it for an extended period. A similar object was reportedly seen several minutes later, further north near Shoreline. "Time Reckoning" - A Theory of Time Discrepancy

The object, which had three support legs and appeared to have a human-like figure inside, stayed for about 10 seconds before taking off. The next day, three imprints, over 6 meters apart, were found in the ground. A teacher from a nearby school was alerted to a light phenomenon that coincided with unusual activity from a nearby military airbase.

Sweden

Mariannelund, October 1959: An overmontør (shift supervisor) and his 25-year-old son reported a power outage followed by a bright white light visible above a three-story building. They initially feared a plane crash but then observed the light moving and appearing to land. Instead, it ascended and struck a maple tree with a scraping sound. The overmontør later experienced unexplained radiation symptoms, and the power outage was never explained.

USA

North Hudson-parken, November 1975: George O'Barski, a 72-year-old shop owner, recounted an encounter with a landed UFO. He described small, 1.20-1.35 meter tall figures in light-colored clothing with helmets or hoods. These beings collected soil samples using specialized tools and small bags. The entire event lasted less than four minutes. O'Barski was deeply shaken and later found about 15 small, 8-10 cm deep holes in the ground where the UFO had landed. He struggled to reconcile the experience, initially wondering if he had dreamt it or was losing his mind.

Stonehenge Apartments Area (Date unspecified): Bill Pawlowski, a night watchman, observed a row of bright lights in the sky that appeared to be about 2-3 meters above the ground. While he was calling a tenant, a loud vibration and a sudden crack occurred, shattering the entrance window. The lights then disappeared. The crack in the glass was a peculiar indentation, not a through-and-through hole.

Near North Hudson-parken (Date unspecified): The Wamsley family, including 12-year-old Robert and his mother Alice, witnessed a round, illuminated craft hovering about 12-15 meters above the ground. The object moved slowly and then sped away towards a large round building (Stonehenge).

Mexico

Mexico City, April 1964: Lars Gulliksen submitted a photograph of a UFO light he took in Mexico City. A more detailed report was promised for a future newsletter.

Classic UFO Case: Socorro, New Mexico, April 24, 1964

This section details the well-known encounter of police officer Lonnie Zamora. While on patrol, Zamora observed a landed object emitting flames and making explosive sounds. He described it as an egg-shaped metallic craft resting on legs. He saw two white-clad figures near the object. After the object ascended and sped away, Zamora reported the incident. Investigating officer Chavez confirmed Zamora's shaken state and examined the landing marks, which formed a near-perfect square. The investigation of the landing site revealed a burn mark at the center, suggesting the object's center of gravity was directly above it.

Black Helicopters

Ulf Bjaaland discusses the phenomenon of 'Black Helicopters' (BH), often seen in areas where crop circles appear. These are typically unmarked, black helicopters. Bjaaland outlines three main aspects:
