Magazine Overview

SUFOI Annual Report 2018

The main focus of this issue is the upcoming SUFOI Annual Report 2018. The report is described as a print edition.

Supporting SUFOI

The newsletter encourages readers to support SUFOI's work in exploring the UFO phenomenon by joining the SUFOI Support Circle with a minimum donation of DKK 250. This contribution enables SUFOI to maintain its website, ufo.dk, investigate UFO experiences, and conduct its public information activities. Members of the Support Circle have no further obligations and their contribution is valid for the entire year. A donation of at least DKK 250 entitles the donor to a free book gift and the SUFOI Annual Report 2019, sent postage-free in January 2019.

Radio24syv Focuses on "UFOs - Myths and Knowledge"

Radio24syv featured SUFOI in its program AK24syv, a cultural magazine. The segment, which aired on January 3, 2018, discussed the UFO myth and SUFOI's history, coinciding with the organization's 60th anniversary on December 17, 2017. The program released a book titled "UFO'er - Myter og Viden" (UFOs - Myths and Knowledge) which compiles the organization's 60 years of research. The radio interview, hosted by Mads Østergaard with SUFOI chairman Kim Møller Hansen, lasted 28 minutes and was part of a series called "Nyt fra forenings-Danmark" (News from Association Denmark). The specific segment on SUFOI and "UFO'er - Myter og viden" can be found between 00:16:30 and 00:44:50 in the podcast.

New Content on ufo.dk

The "Himlens fænomener mv" (Phenomena of the sky etc.) section on the ufo.dk website has been expanded. It now provides information on how to identify contrails from airplanes and various types of reflections. This new content, including photos and explanations, was prepared by SUFOI's photo expert, Ole Henningsen. The section is expected to be continuously updated.

The image shows a contrail from an airplane casting a shadow on the clouds, with a light reflection visible to the left, caused by strong sunlight. This section reiterates the call to become a member of SUFOI's Support Circle for 2019.

Books and Membership

Skandinavisk UFO Information is run by volunteers, with the primary goal of providing the public with serious information about the UFO phenomenon through ufo.dk and registering unusual aerial phenomena. The organization's purpose and vision can be read online. Financial contributions of DKK 250 or more enable the continued operation of ufo.dk and investigations. Members can choose one of four book titles as a free gift with their contribution: "Ildkugler over Danmark" (Fireballs over Denmark) (DKK 159), "UFO'er - Myter og viden" (UFOs - Myths and Knowledge) (DKK 149), "Mysteriet om UFO'er" (The Mystery of UFOs) (DKK 54), and "Firestorm" (DKK 89). Payments are made via online banking to account 3113-9117725, with the code 01 and the name, address, and order number (e.g., B-033) for the chosen book.
