A single ration was said to keep a person awake for at least three days without sleep.

Despite these findings, the public in the USA was allegedly kept unaware. The 'Farmington incident' was ordered to be strictly kept secret by President Eisenhower. Approximately three years after the Farmington incidents, in 1958, another alien craft crashed near Irrigon, Oregon, on the Columbia River. However, a surprising discovery was made: the ship was operated not by humans or humanoids, but solely by electromechanical robots. Attempts to remove the robots' heads failed. When trying to move a robot by its feet, one of its arms moved, revealing a release mechanism in the back of its skull that exposed its 'brain'.

The robots' eyes were described as hundreds of light sensors that sent signals to a computer in the chest. This computer controlled the robot's limbs and head, storing instructions for ship navigation. The Irrigon crash yielded four robots, one of which was undamaged and functional.
