SPØRGESKEMA-UNDERSØGELSE EN SUCCES! (Questionnaire Survey a Success!) - By Toke Haunstrup

Toke Haunstrup reports on a successful questionnaire survey sent to SUFOI report-takers along with the previous issue of InfoBrevet. A similar survey was sent to participants of the report-taker course in Copenhagen. Out of 23 active report-takers, 14 responded, resulting in a response rate of over 50%, which is considered good. The survey aimed to understand the report-takers' capabilities for conducting interviews and revealed that most of Denmark is covered by report-takers, with only Vestjylland and the Thy area lacking coverage. This is seen as a positive outcome of the three report-taker courses held over four years. The focus is now shifting to delegating work to local report-takers rather than having a few individuals handle most cases. The survey also gathered feedback on the report-taking process, including requests for better orientation on how reports are used and suggestions for focusing on more significant cases rather than 'trivial' ones like night lights. The feedback is being taken into consideration to improve the report-taking work within SUFOI.

EN STILLE PERIODE (A Quiet Period) - By Toke Haunstrup

SUFOI I TV3 - By Per Andersen

Per Andersen describes SUFOI's participation in a TV3 program called "Mænd ingen adgang" (Men Not Allowed). The program's theme was "spirits," covering topics like ghosts, psychic abilities, and discussions about the "spirit in the glass." Andersen recounts his experience in the studio and mentions other participants, including observer Kent Rose and Marianne Rasmussen, who shared her experiences with extraterrestrial contact. TO UFOLOGER UDSTILLET (Two Ufologists Exhibited) - By Peter Nørgaard

Peter Nørgaard reports on a SUFOI presence at an exhibition in Silkeborg on April 27th. The SUFOI group, along with members from AMPU, had a stand to promote their work. Nørgaard gave a short lecture, and they distributed approximately 50 sample copies of 'UFO-Nyt'. The event attracted around 1500 visitors.

OFFENTLIG ARRANGEMENT SUCCES (Public Event Success) - By Per Andersen

Per Andersen details a successful public lecture event held by the Copenhagen group on June 6th in Vanløse. The event featured talks on various UFO topics and attracted about 80 paying attendees, with significant media interest, including coverage in Politiken. Radio and TV coverage also contributed to the event's success. An aggressive individual disrupted the event, but was eventually asked to leave. The event generated a surplus of 600 DKK for the Support Fund and 1,000 DKK from material sales.

SUFOI has sent an open letter to the Minister of Environmental Affairs, Svend Auken, protesting the use of searchlights and projectors in the night sky, citing concerns about light pollution. The initiative was inspired by the Astronomical Society's campaign against light pollution.

INTET NYT OM UFOERNE - IFØLGE ØSTJYLLANDS RADIO (No News on UFOs - According to East Jutland Radio) - By Peter Nørgaard

Peter Nørgaard recounts an attempt to arrange a radio program about UFOs with a journalism student. However, the program was cancelled because the station required a current, exciting case from the Aarhus area, which could not be guaranteed.

NYE UDGIVELSER I STØBESKEEN (New Publications in the Making) - By Per Andersen

Kim is planning two new publications: a 200-page reissue of classic UFO cases, likely to be titled 'UFO-Nyt', and a new edition of the UFO yearbook 'UFO Vision'. A planned booklet about Roswell is also in development.

UFOGRUPPEN I AALBORG (UFO Group in Aalborg) - By Peter Nørgaard

Peter Nørgaard attended a meeting of the Aalborg UFO group on June 12th, which was described as a pleasant gathering with a good coffee table. A barbecue is planned for the summer, and the next meeting is scheduled for August 21st.

Peter Nørgaard lists his lectures held since the first quarter: Junior Chamber in Hadsund (April 15th, approx. 30 attendees), School in Viborg (May 7th, approx. 80 attendees), and Varna in Aarhus (June 4th, approx. 50 attendees).

An analysis was conducted on the interest in UFO-Nyt versus its subscription price. A renewed offer was sent to 80 former subscribers, with 16 choosing to renew their subscriptions.

SUFOI's board is scheduled to meet with IGAP on August 18th in Kolding. The meeting aims to foster better understanding and open dialogue between the two organizations.

SUFOI is proposing a more formalized collaboration with the newly formed "Dansk Korn-Cirkel Gruppe" (DKCG) to systematically handle cases together. The aim is to ensure SUFOI is involved in relevant cases.

A new welcome booklet for new members has been created to provide them with essential information and foster a closer connection to SUFOI. While the printing quality of the illustrations is not ideal, it will be improved in the next edition.

UFO-FEBER (UFO Fever)

From Somaliland in southeastern Somalia, the self-proclaimed republic is urging the international community to launch a swift and extensive UFO investigation. This call comes after local children and animals reportedly became sick and died following two unexplained explosions in December. Somali experts could not find a natural explanation and suspect UFO explosions. A French UN pilot flying over the region reportedly smiled when asked if he had seen anything, responding, 'I haven't - and I pray I never do.'

Det smager lidt af „Strengt Fortroligt“ (It tastes a bit like "Top Secret")

This section features an invitation to an evening at Medborgerhuset Lindersvold in Vejle on Thursday, June 6th, at 7:30 PM, where members of Skandinavisk UFO Information (SUFOI) will share UFO observations from around Denmark. The main speaker, vice-chairman Toke Haunstrup, will recount a story from Vejle about a young man whose car instruments went haywire, his car died, and he then witnessed a 12-15 meter object hovering above his vehicle, illuminated by a bright light. UFOer i Karlslunde?
