• TSIOLKOV.EXE: A photo of the Tsiolkov crater on the Moon. This photo is associated with the article "Vand på Månen" (Water on the Moon), which is included in the texts from UFO-Nyt 1997 number 1.

Users can transfer these images to their 'PICT' catalog by typing `C:\> A:PICT`. The images are in EXE format and can be viewed by typing their names, for example: `C:\>CD_PICT` followed by `C:\> UFO447D2`.

Updating the Info Text Database

The 'Info' Text Database can be automatically updated with texts from UFO-Nyt and SUFOI Nyhedsbrev by typing `C:\>A:OPDATER` from the root directory (C:\>). It is important to be in the main directory (root) for this command to work. If you have multiple drives (C, D, etc.), you can install the system on any drive.

Using the Info-System

The Info-system is started by typing `C: > INFO`. This brings up a menu system on the screen, which is self-explanatory through the texts at the bottom. Users can navigate through catalogs and texts using the arrow keys and view content by pressing the Enter key. A more detailed description of the program is available in the file INFO.TXT, located in the main menu after starting the program. If the 'INFO' command does not work, users can try navigating to the UFONYT directory first: `C:\>CD_UFONYT` then `C:\UFONYT>INFO`.

To access these texts, navigate the menu to a line starting with ">971" and press Enter. This will grant access to all texts, which can then be read by selecting the desired text and pressing Enter.

SUFOI Nyhedsbrev

Similarly, to access the newsletter, navigate the menu to a line starting with ">NYHED" and press Enter. This provides access to different issues of the newsletter, which can be read by selecting the desired issue and pressing Enter.

Bibliography of Danish UFO Literature

The diskette contains two files in the 'BIB' catalog that together form a complete bibliography of Danish UFO literature from 1950 to 1990. This bibliography was previously published in booklet form.

• UFOBIB.TXT: A text file containing a printout of all 302 references with full details. It is a DOS text file compatible with most programs. The order is by author, then editor or title.
• UFOBIB.DBF: A dBase database containing the same information in a database format, loadable into programs like Excel.

The fields in the dBase database include: FORFATTER (Author), REDAKT (Editor), TITEL (Title), UTITEL (Subtitle), SERIE (Series name), FORLAG (Publisher), OPLAG (Edition), BIND (Volume number), UDGAAR (Year of publication), UDSTED (Place of publication), SIDER (Number of pages), ISBN, KOM1-5 (Supplementary information), ANN1-6 (Annotation/content description), EMNE (Subject code), and KILDE (Source, e.g., PA = Per Andersen, WW = Willy Wegner).

Databases and Lists with Observations

The diskette also includes new databases and lists of observation reports submitted to SUFOI, available as dBase IV databases and printouts. All files can be automatically transferred to your hard disk by typing `C:\>A:OBS`. This will transfer the files to an 'OBS' catalog on your hard drive.

The dBase files require the dBase program and include:

• OBS1996.DBF: Contains 219 observations from 1996.
• OBS1996.NDX: A date index.
• OBS.FMT/SCR: A screen format file.

ASCII text files include:

• OBS1996A.TXT: Lists observations from 1996 in a format with 150 characters per line.
• OBS1996B.TXT: Same, but with 70 characters per line.

For international exchange, the observation details are in English. Each report includes:

• DATE: Date
• TIME: Time (DNT = Danish Normal Time, DST = Danish Summer Time)
• DURATION: Duration
