Press/TV/Radio Matters Over the Past Month

Television:

• EQUINOX (25.10.92): A follow-up to the 1991 programme, described as an updated version with about 10 minutes extra. It was considered a 'Terence Meaden one man show' and 'very one sided'.
• FANTASTIC FACTS: To be screened in the new year with JONATHAN ROSS. ELSIE OAKENSEN (UFO witness) is appearing on it.

Radio:

• WEDNESDAY 21.10.92: BBC RADIO SOLENT featured a 25-minute programme with the organiser and ERNIE SEARS discussing UFO sightings, and one caller reported an early 1950s sighting.

Press:

• 15.11.92: NEWS OF THE WORLD MAGAZINE featured 'BEYOND THE TWILIGHT ZONE' with contributions from TONY DOD, ROY LAKE, EX-PC ALAN GODFREY & OTHERS.

Magazine Review

1. NORTHERN UFO NEWS (No. 157, Oct 92): Described as packed with news, information, and reports. Subscriptions are due to rise for the first time since 1989. Contact JENNY RANDLE, 37 HEATHBANK RD, CHEADLE HEATH, STOCKPORT, CHESHIRE SK3 0UP.
2. WORLD UFO JOURNAL (Issue No 1): A 23-page A4 magazine with good content on Roswell, sighting reports, and more. Price: £5 for 4 issues. (See Useful Address section).
3. SPI MAGAZINE (Nov/Dec 92): A nice and well-produced magazine, though with less UFO content this time. Available from MALCOLM ROBINSON, 41 THE BRAES, TULLIBODY, CLACKMANNANSHIRE, FK10 2TT, SCOTLAND.
4. FAR OUT: An American magazine available in the UK. The reviewer personally disliked it but acknowledged individual preferences. The current edition featured Area 51, Nevada.

• INTERNATIONAL UFO LIBRARY MAGAZINE: Another US magazine that the reviewer enjoyed more. Volume 1, No 3, contained articles on FREDERICK VALENTICH, crop circles, UFO crash in South Africa, and more.

Southampton University Course

• CROP CIRCLES: A SCIENTIFIC APPROACH: Presented by MICHAEL GREEN, RIBA, FSA, on 27.3.93 from 10 am to 5 pm in the Adult Education Centre. Fee: £12, with a concessionary fee of £6.

Recurring Themes and Editorial Stance
