Mel Noel Contact Story

The lead article details an account from Mel Noel, who claims to be an ex-Air Force pilot who left the service under a 10-year statute of limitations. In 1954, while flying in a formation of F-86 jet aircraft at 38,000 feet over Idaho, he and his squadron encountered 16 disk-shaped objects that flew in a 'V' formation. The objects were described as moving five to six times faster than their jets, exceeding Mach 1. The pilots were instructed to take pictures with their gun cameras. After the flight, the film was removed and sent to Washington D.C.

A week and a half later, while flying in the same area, the saucers reappeared. Mel Noel reported hearing a man speaking in slow English to the Colonel via radio. Following this encounter, the pilots were instructed to fill out forms about what they saw, but not what they heard.

Later, the Colonel reportedly met with individuals from the saucers in a Phoenix, Arizona motel room. He was then taken aboard a saucer where he met both men and women, including individuals described as being 78 and 146 years old. The commander, described as having 'super-intelligence,' explained that the craft was part of a mother-craft for interplanetary travel and mentioned a past atomic war between inhabitants of the Moon and Earth. The concept of reincarnation was also discussed as a scientific fact.

Mel Noel stated that the Air Force knows the origin of the saucers and their presence on Earth, and he believes this information should be revealed to the public. Mel Noel is married and has four children, and he is seeking other ex-Air Force pilots with similar experiences who are no longer bound by the 10-year limitation.

Sid Padrick Contact Story

This section features an account from Sid Padrick of La Selva Beach, California, who claims to have been taken aboard a flying saucer on January 30, 1955. He states the visitors were there for 'exploratory reasons' and observation, and that they would return to pick up more people, possibly in groups. He believes their planet is within our solar system.

Padrick described the beings as human-like, about 5'9" to 5'10" tall, with short, dark auburn hair and light skin. Their features were similar to ours, with sharper chins and noses. The woman he saw had long hair. He noted their fingers were slightly longer than his and their hands were well-manicured.

They were dressed in light bluish-white, slip-on suits that included shoes, resembling boots. The interior of the craft was described as having rounded corners, no square edges, and walls that emitted light without visible fixtures. The instrument panels were unlike anything seen before, with markings resembling teletype tapes.

Padrick stated that the spaceman spoke perfect English and that communication might have been telepathic. He also mentioned that the crew reacted indifferently to his presence.

Flying Saucers Invade Europe

This section reports on UFO sightings in Europe. A 19-year-old Danish girl, Lisbet Morteson, photographed a 'flying saucer' over Ireland on December 25, 1955. The photograph was authenticated by British photographer Percy Hennell.

Another report details an incident on April 10, 1967, near Warminister, UK, where a 'Thing' in the sky caused speculation. The Sunday newspaper NEWS OF THE WORLD published pictures of an object resembling a space craft, photographed by Mrs. Joan Oldfield from a British United Airways airliner over Cannock, Staffordshire. The object was described as transforming into a flying saucer shape before disappearing. Mrs. Oldfield's film was sent to the Air Ministry.

Richard Shaver Says
