MOON ONCE VERY CLOSE TO EARTH

This article reports on a thesis proposed by Dr. Lawrence K. Lustig of the U.S. Geological Survey. He suggests that the Moon may have once been only 9,000 miles from Earth, significantly closer than its current distance. This event, occurring millions of years ago before life appeared, would have resulted in much greater lunar gravity, influencing Earth's sea tides and potentially causing the buckling of the Earth's surface, leading to shallow seas that covered vast areas of the continent.

WATER FOUND IN ATMOSPHERE OF VENUS

A team of astrophysicists from Johns Hopkins University announced on December 7th that the clouds surrounding Venus are composed of water in the form of ice particles. This discovery raises the possibility of oxygen in Venus's atmosphere, as Earth's oxygen is believed to be released from water vapor. The presence of oxygen and carbon sources on Venus suggests the potential for life.

ONE WORLD VS. MARS IN 1999

Bert Bacharach, a columnist for the New York Journal American, noted a prediction from Nostradamus students. They claim that Nostradamus predicted the nations of the Earth would unite in 1999 to repel an invasion from Mars. The article also mentions Jupiter as the ruling planet of Sagittarius, Thursday as the lucky day, and the number 3 as the lucky number.

EARLY SAUCER SIGHTING

This section recounts a sighting by Orrie Miller, an engineer at radio station KSO in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on July 7, 1947. While driving, Miller observed a bright, pear-shaped object flying at high speed in level flight. He ruled out a meteor due to its lack of a tail and its steady flight. He initially suspected it might be a secret military projectile and therefore did not report it at the time.

SAUCERS OVER D.C.

Paul Dickey Jr. and Ed Shad, along with ten others, observed approximately 12 to 15 white oval-shaped objects moving erratically at an altitude of 15,000 feet above Capital Hill in Washington D.C. The objects were reportedly being chased by two jet planes with delta wings. The Defense Department has disclaimed knowledge of the incident.

SUBTERRANEAN CITIES OF THE ATLANTEANS

This extensive article by Dr. Raymond Bernard details his eight years of research into alleged subterranean cities inhabited by a super race of Atlantean origin in Brazil. He met Prof. Henrique Joes de Souza, president of the Brazilian Theosophical Society, who spoke of these cities and the explorer Colonel Fawcett, whom he believed to be alive and held in one such city. Bernard recounts his own failed attempts to locate Fawcett's city in the Roncador Mountains. He then details findings from explorers who entered tunnels near Ponte Grosse (Parana) and Rincon (Parana), encountering gas and chimney-like structures. Another explorer reported seeing luminous flying saucers ascending from a tunnel near 'Mystery Mountain' in Joinville, and encountering short, stocky subterranean men. An elderly man in Joinville reportedly saw a subterranean city with vehicles. The article also includes accounts of explorers finding tunnels near Rio Casador (Santa Catarina) and Gaspar (Santa Catarina), with descriptions of subterranean inhabitants, children, and fruit orchards. Bernard mentions a plan to arrange for Americans to establish residence in these cities to escape nuclear war fallout, inviting interested individuals to contact the 'ORDER OF ISIS' in Joinville, Brazil.

NO FLINTSTONE CIVILIZATION

Richard S. Shaver writes about his discoveries, particularly stones that reveal pictures under specific lighting conditions. He describes an encounter with police in Wisconsin who interfered with a TV cameraman interviewing him. Shaver seeks an active agent to promote his findings through TV, radio, and lectures. He explains that his stones require a specific viewing method, involving polarized light and a rotating mechanism, to reveal their 'multitudinous' pictures. Shaver claims that these stones offer insights into the Earth's past, contradicting the 'Flintstone' idea and suggesting that the Earth has been highly civilized multiple times. Science Is Wrong About Space

Victor Pence argues that current scientific understanding of the Universe, the speed of light, and Einstein's theories are flawed. He contends that the speed of light is not the absolute limit and that stars and galaxies are much closer than believed. Pence suggests that light slows down upon entering our solar system's gravitational field, creating the illusion of distance. He believes humanity will not leave our solar system, likening gravity to a 'Mobius Strip' that keeps us contained. He connects his findings to the Bible, suggesting that God created barriers like air, gravity, food, and water to separate humans and fallen angels.

Attack From The North Pole?

Robert L. Dobbing discusses predictions from Jess Stern's book 'The Door to the Future,' which foretell an attack on the USA from the North Pole by slant-eyed people. Dobbing speculates this could refer to Red China or underground dwellers. He recounts an encounter with an elderly Spanish lady in New Mexico who spoke of a beautiful woman emerging from an underground cavern, and a sailor who claimed to have seen an underground city near Tiber. Dobbing suggests these underground civilizations might be observing Earth for a future attack rather than intending to save humanity from atomic bombs. He also touches on the concept of a hollow Earth and antigravity devices, relating gravity to Earth's rotation.
