Laerte provided the most extensive report. In 1977, between 7:30 PM and 9:10 PM, he observed a red, circular object that approached the mountains. He then witnessed the object transform into a rectangular shape, which subsequently divided into two rectangular objects, and then into three. These objects maintained their rectangular form but reduced in size. The object then reverted to its original circular, red form and repeated the transformation cycle.

Waldemar's observation occurred on July 17, 1977. He saw three red, rectangular aerial objects situated parallel to each other. These transformed into three circles, with a dull red periphery and a brighter red center. The circles then reduced to two larger ones, which finally merged into a single, larger circle, resembling a classic Flying Saucer with a dish-like bottom and a row of lights.

The Crew of Serra do Moura, Novo Trento - Brusque - State of Santa Catarina

Introduction

This section describes an episode related to extraterrestrial beings, occurring near Serra do Moura, Novo Trento, in Brusque, Santa Catarina. The case was brought to the attention of SBEDV by a friend of Paulo Coutinho, who had previously reported a contact with short extraterrestrials.

The Report

On the night of September 3, 1976, around 7 PM, João Romeu Klein (19 years old, a farmer) was returning home when he saw an aerial craft approaching from the south. The craft appeared to be composed of two parts: a lower, deep dish-shaped part that rotated counter-clockwise, and an upper, flatter part with a luminous dome that changed color from red to orange, yellow, and light green depending on its speed, turning white when stationary. The craft, approximately 3 meters in diameter, hovered about 10 meters above João. Three small beings, about 1 meter tall, descended from the craft and blocked his path. They appeared to communicate with each other using letters and vowels from the alphabet. João, attempting to pass, was struck by a blue light beam from a baton held by one of the beings, which caused numbness and stiffness in his left thigh. He was later found by neighbors and taken to Azambuja hospital in Brusque, where doctors examined the affected area. No external wounds were found, but his muscles were severely stiffened.

This individual, dressed in a loose, shiny uniform, gestured for Benedito to drive the tractor forward. Benedito complied, driving for about 15-20 minutes to a location where feed troughs were situated. The ufologist accompanied him, observing his work. Benedito then began distributing feed to the troughs.

Benedito's Encounters (Page 1 & 2)

The being, who had accompanied Benedito, directed him to circle the UFO, which was hovering about half a meter above the ground. They used their torches to illuminate the ground, and when Benedito tried to investigate, their lights focused on him, diminishing his strength and attention.

After circling the object four times as instructed, Benedito lost consciousness again and found himself back by his tractor. The companion then signaled for Benedito to ascend, and after another loss of consciousness, Benedito was back at his original position.

The second encounter happened about 4 weeks later, on a Tuesday morning. The same nave reappeared. Benedito was on his way to the farm when he saw the nave about 200 meters away, hovering at an altitude of 15 to 20 meters. He clearly saw the green, red, and orange lights of the vehicle. He immediately notified the administrator, Pedro Lobato.

Later, when Benedito and Lobato returned to the location, there was no sign of the UFO. Benedito's work schedule was changed, and he no longer started work in the early morning. He reported that the encounter had made him more developed and less inhibited.
