UFO Lights in the Mansfield and North Devon Area

Neil Cairns reports on sightings of lights in the sky over Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, on June 4th, 2012, around 10:30 pm. Initially, one orange light was seen, followed by a white light to its left and a red light to its right. These lights altered in brightness and flashed occasionally for about ten minutes. Cairns regrets not having his video camera ready.

A further report details similar lights seen near Witheridge, Tiverton, Devon. Retired Lieutenant-Colonel John White, former Royal Engineer and chairman of East Anstey Parish Council, reported that his wife Jean spotted a red light in the sky around 11 pm on June 4th. Initially thought to be Mars or another planet, cloud cover made this unlikely. The red light then moved horizontally across the sky and seemed to fade out. This was followed by three more similar occurrences. Lieutenant-Colonel White stated the incident lasted about five minutes and was witnessed by neighbours. He dismissed the possibility of it being Jubilee fireworks, asserting that he and his wife were not hallucinating.

A Civil Aviation Authority spokesman stated they could not identify the object, as light aircraft and helicopters are not always required to communicate with air traffic control. The Ministry of Defence confirmed they had received no reports of UFOs in the area.

China Sends First Woman Astronaut into Space!

This section reports on China's space program, highlighting the launch of the Shenzhou-9 spacecraft with three crew members, including China's first female astronaut, 33-year-old Liu Yang. The mission aimed to achieve the country's first manual space docking as part of a project to build a 60-ton space station by 2020. The spacecraft launched from the Jiuquan space center in the Gobi Desert and was scheduled to dock with the Tiangong-1 lab module. Liu Yang expressed her desire to experience weightlessness and see Earth. She joined experienced astronaut Jing Haipeng and Liu Wang. Liu Yang, from Henan province, joined the army in 1997 and has flown 1,680 hours, having previously been noted for safely landing a jet after an engine bird strike. China's ambitious space program, including putting a human into orbit and launching a lunar probe, has seen success in recent years.

Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka commented that the UN and China have developed instructions for first contact with aliens, and expressed his belief that humanity is not alone in the universe.

Missile or UFO? Thousands Witness 'Catherine Wheel' in the Sky

Thousands of people in Israel, Turkey, and Jordan witnessed a spinning 'UFO' performing 'cartwheels' in the sky on June 8, 2012. Police received numerous calls from panicked residents in these countries, as well as Cyprus and Lebanon, due to the white, gleaming light. Theories ranged from a failing missile test to a satellite breaking up or an alien spacecraft. The phenomenon bore resemblance to a Russian missile test seen in Norway in 2009. The Defense Ministry in Moscow confirmed a test rocket launch six minutes prior to the event. Dr. Yigal Pat-El of the Israeli Astronomical Association suggested it was likely a missile spinning out of control. A similar beam seen over Norway in December 2009 was confirmed as a Russian Bulava missile breaking up.

USA: Startling Husband and Wife Abduction in Texas

This is a personal account from Maypearl, Texas, detailing an event on May 15, 1991. The narrator was woken by a bright light and humming sound. She observed four short, grey figures with large dark eyes standing by her bed. They were described as about four feet tall, with big heads and skinny necks, and made a 'soft robotic' noise. Two more figures were seen near her husband. The narrator felt paralyzed and unable to scream. Hours later, she and her husband noticed a 'gooey jelly type ooze' from their belly buttons. She experienced subsequent illness including headaches, dizziness, and nausea. The event reportedly happened again a year later.

UK Report Loughton

A British child witness and his parents reported seeing a UFO on May 31, 2012, near Epping Forest, Essex. The silvery, shimmering object was photographed by 11-year-old Jack Brody. His father, Simon, reported the sighting to neighbours and the police. He described the event as 'spooky' and noted that the object vanished in a flash when a plane approached. His wife Karen and their children Joshua and Evie also witnessed the encounter. The article notes that Essex has been a 'hotbed of recent UFO activity,' with over 20 sightings reported in Essex and London in May alone. A resident also reported seeing a 'blue triangular object'.

INDONESIAN RUSSIAN AIR CRASH - ANOTHER PSYCHIC PREMONITION?

This section details a Russian passenger jet, a Sukhoi Superjet 100, that went missing and crashed in Indonesia on May 9th, 2012, with at least 44 people on board. The aircraft disappeared from radar screens during a demonstration flight from Jakarta. Pilots requested to descend from 10,000 feet to 6,000 feet, but lost radio contact and vanished at 6,200 feet.

The article links this event to a psychic premonition. In a previous issue of OVNI, 'Patricia' had described an Out-of-Body (OOB) experience before the 9/11 disaster. It is disclosed that Patricia comes from a psychic family, and her son 'Lee' also had a similar OOB experience on May 4th, 2012. In his dream, Lee found himself in the presence of aliens and saw an impending disaster involving a Russian airliner about to crash with about 50 people on board. He was on the aircraft surrounded by panicking passengers.

Lee contacted his mother on May 5th, describing the dream. He recalled being shown a Russian plane on a demonstration flight in Indonesia that crashed with approximately 50 people. The actual crash occurred on May 9th. Lee told the reporter that he had asked a 'blonde alien' to prevent the crash, but was told 'they cannot prevent it.' He also recalled the impression that aliens were 'guiding the souls' of the dead and heard a distressed woman's voice saying, “I've got children, don't take it!” The editor notes that not all details were disclosed, anticipating future revelations.

SWEDISH VISITORS RETURN TO DERBY

On May 26th, two UFO researchers from the Swedish UFO group 'AFU-Sverige', Clas Svahn and Hakan Ekstrand, visited the UK to collect UFO data for their archives in Sweden. They visited the Royal British Legion in Allenton and met with various UFO researchers. Their team in Sweden coordinates the collection and processing of UFO data in new premises. Clas Svahn explained that their organization has expanded to ten full-time staff members for sorting, processing, and digitizing data. They have extensive new shelving and are funded by private contributors and the Swedish Government. The visit was arranged to collect twelve PRA newspaper scrapbooks, Crop Circle books, and tape recordings from BUFORA lectures. All collected material is digitized and made available to the original contributors.

DRAGON TAKES FLAWLESS PREDAWN TRIP TO ORBIT

This brief article reports on SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket launching a privately-owned capsule named Dragon into orbit on a test flight to the International Space Station. The launch occurred on Friday, May 25th, 2012, at 3:44 a.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral.

The truth is out there about UFO in Baltic Sea, say Swedish scientists.

THE BALTIC UNDERWATER MYSTERY OBJECT (Report 2)

"Huge Mushroom" Rising 13 Feet from Seabed

Delaware UFO Triangle Landing:

A personal account details a sighting on February 19, 2005, near Clayton, Delaware. The witness, driving home from work, observed a brilliant greenish-white star-like object move rapidly across the sky. The triangular object, estimated to be 60 feet across and 100 feet long, landed silently in a field, emitting a laser light. It later rose, hovered above the witness's car at about 40 feet, and then moved northeast. The experience left the witness deeply shaken, resulting in a heart attack a month later.

DOGFIGHT WITH A UFO

This article, by Dick Durham from The Daily Star (March 20, 1991), recounts an interview with Top Gun fighter pilot Milton Torres. Torres describes an encounter on April 27, 1957, where he was ordered to intercept a massive UFO over the Kent coast. Flying an F-86D Sabre jet at high speed, Torres achieved a full radar 'lock-on' and had 24 rockets ready. However, just as he received the command to fire, the UFO vanished. The mission was classified, and Torres was told to remain silent about the event. Torres later became a professor of industrial engineering after flying 260 combat missions in Vietnam.

VOYAGER 1 AT THE FINAL FRONTIER

Authored by Dr. Tony Phillips, this piece from June 22, 2012, discusses NASA's Voyager 1 probe, which has been traveling for nearly 35 years toward the edge of the solar system. Data indicates Voyager 1 is entering a new region, potentially leaving the heliosphere and entering interstellar space. The new target is closer to its ultimate destination, Mount Sharp, reducing the post-landing drive by half. This adjustment was possible due to increased confidence in precision landing technology.
