He later saw a second, identical object approach from behind. The object was observed hovering near Chanteraines and Blancheville before disappearing.

Report N° 2: Forrières, Belgium Incident (August 15-16, 1975)

Investigated by Maurice Mélot, this report describes an observation made between 22:20 and 04:30. A witness, M. Paquet, observed a bright point of light, larger than a star, approaching rapidly and hovering over a power pole at an estimated altitude of 150 meters. The object was described as a large star. M. Paquet retreated indoors, and upon returning, saw the object disappear behind trees. It reappeared, larger and ovate in shape, in complete silence. Later, around 4:30 AM, both M. and Mme. Paquet heard a powerful, unidentifiable bird-like cry. M. Paquet then observed a human-like silhouette, about 1.20 meters tall, on the branches of a tree or high-tension wires. The figure was well-proportioned and seemed unaffected by the 3,000-volt wires. When M. Paquet tried to illuminate the figure with a flashlight, it had vanished.

Report N° 3: Flying Cigars above Valenciennes (October 1, 1975)

Transmitted by two credible witnesses, this observation occurred on the autoroute Paris-Bruxelles. Around 16:23, near Valenciennes, two elongated objects were seen in a break in the clouds at an estimated altitude of 2000 meters. These objects were immobile and horizontally aligned. The lower object then assumed a vertical position, and a smaller disc-shaped object emerged from its underside. The cigar-shaped object was enveloped in a milky white cloud before the disc descended rapidly, leaving a trail. The disc then ascended at high speed and disappeared into the clouds. The cigar object resumed its horizontal position, and both objects remained for about 14 minutes before slowly disappearing into the clouds. The witnesses' car radio emitted static during the observation. The estimated dimensions of the elongated objects were 250 meters long by 30-40 meters high, and the disc was 20-25 meters in diameter. Three photographs were taken but were reportedly lost during development.

Report N° 4: UFOs above Orly (August 14 and 17, 1975)

This report, corroborated by regional delegates, mentions that UFOs appeared as intermittent luminous spots on radar at Orly Airport's control tower, unlike the continuous movement of aircraft. Pilots reportedly witnessed circular objects with flashing red lights and powerful projectors. One Fokker aircraft narrowly avoided a collision with two such objects. On August 14th, a non-blinking red ball was seen. On August 17th, several objects were observed: a white-yellow object moving north-south, an orange object emitting beams, and another white-yellow object that diminished in size and turned orange. One witness reported seeing two luminous, elliptical, red-orange objects with a diffuse yellow halo on the night of August 18th, which moved rapidly in a staircase pattern before ascending vertically.
