Magazine Overview

Conferences

Out of State Assist

John Bainbridge, identified as SSD, FI and Star Team Member, is traveling to Flatwoods, West Virginia. His purpose is to assist Frank Feschino in the ongoing investigation of the "Flatwoods Monster" case. Stanton Friedman and other researchers will also be present to conduct forensic tests at the sighting locations. Bainbridge will handle forensic evidence collection and site testing. A camera and production crew from the History Channel's "Monster Quest Show" will accompany the group, with the episode to air at a later date.

Investigations

Information is sought regarding the Carbondale, Kecksburg, or Presque Isle incidents. Individuals with relevant details are asked to contact [email protected] or [email protected].

Sighting Reports for September 2009

The newsletter reports that 35 sighting reports were logged in August 2009, and 54 sighting reports were logged in September 2009.

Website Information

An announcement is made about the addition of the MUFON Store as a link on the main page for purchasing MUFON merchandise.

Notice: Membership Drive

PA MUFON is actively seeking new members and individuals interested in becoming Field Investigators. The recruitment drive targets residents in the following Pennsylvania counties: Tioga, Bradford, Lycoming, Susquehanna, Clinton, McKean, Warren, Clearfield, Clarion, Mercer, Erie, Bedford, Blair, Elk, Indiana, and Greene, as well as all other counties in the state.

Individuals interested in joining MUFON as a member or Field Investigator are encouraged to visit www.mufon.com or www.pamufon.com to aid in the investigation of the UFO Phenomenon.
