Argentina: The 1972 Tranqueras CE-3 Case

This section details the "Tranqueras CE-3 Case" which occurred on April 13, 1972. The case involves Luis P. and his friend Rodolfo, who were driving from Buenos Aires to Miramar, Argentina. After stopping for breakfast, they encountered a road obstruction marked by a sawhorse and a detour sign. Following the detour, they experienced a sudden downpour and found themselves on a rough trail. Rodolfo, who was driving at the time, became anxious, and they switched drivers. They eventually found themselves on what appeared to be a newly formed path. Luis recalled feeling cold and experiencing intense coldness when they penetrated a grassland behind a gate. He then described seeing a "giant top"-like object from which two human-like figures descended. These beings, wearing protective helmets and identical clothing, led Luis and Rodolfo into the craft. Inside, Luis was seated in a "dentist's chair" and strapped in, while Rodolfo was taken elsewhere. The interior of the craft was described as having a small chamber with no apparent light source, a floor resembling a "rabbit hutch" with wires, and no windows. The beings' clothing was compared to the Michelin Man's suit, and their feet resembled those of a frog. A "bubble" or "round fishbowl" was placed over Luis's head, creating an orange fog and silence. Rodolfo reappeared, and they were gestured to leave. Upon exiting, they found the stairwell wet and the craft gone. They checked their car and noted the time was 10:20 a.m. They later discovered that they had slept for approximately 24 hours, contradicting the concierge's account of their arrival time. The car was covered in mud, but the concierge stated it had not rained. The roadway to Mar del Plata showed no signs of water. Luis later underwent deep relaxation analysis, recalling the details of the encounter. He has since looked at the sky with more meaning.

Pennsylvanians Report Close Encounters with UFOs During 2009

This section compiles several UFO sighting reports from Pennsylvania during 2009:

• January: A motorist near Greensburg observed a metallic cylinder-like object with a fin, which hovered, flipped upwards, changed shape, and moved away at a fast rate.
• September 4: Two people in Latrobe witnessed a bright yellow-white pulsating sphere of light that shot across the sky and vanished instantly, described as moving with "astronomical speed."
• October 31: Near Greensburg, a witness described a stealth-like, triangular object resembling a fighter jet that passed low over the highway. It appeared as a bright white light that slowed down to reveal a dark structure surrounded by white light and a cloudy mass.
• December (early): A solid white chevron shaped object was reported moving eastward near Greensburg, appearing to blend in with or pass through clouds.
• December 23: In rural Armstrong County, a man heard an odd sound and saw a large cylindrical object moving slowly. When he returned with a camera, the object was gone, replaced by a huge triangular pattern of lights that moved slowly and silently.
