Kathleen stated that she had a sexual encounter with this being, though she hesitated to provide details, emphasizing that she remembers him standing over her. Case 2: The Perils of Kathleen, Part XII: The Extraterrestrial Insect

Continuing the account of Kathleen's experiences, this section describes a dream or real experience on a spacecraft where she encountered a "strange insect." Initially, she thought it was carrying dead ones, but upon closer inspection, she realized it was not camouflaged like Earth insects. She described it as "kind of dark brown in color" and unlike anything she had seen on Earth, possibly a "bug, or something from another world" that had metamorphosed. She estimated the insect was approximately three inches long. Kathleen recalled the environment as sterile, with a metallic-looking wall, and the insect moving across a metal floor.

Terror in the Night, Part II

Authored by Virgil Staff, this section continues the investigation into an incident involving a witness referred to as "Gerald." The account is based on verbatim statements from audio tapes made by MUFON Field Investigator Tom Stanton. Gerald describes an event that occurred on a Saturday night, possibly in '89 or '90. He and others were outside when they saw flashes of light, described as "another one over here - just like they were playin' with you." Approximately 15-20 minutes later, a craft described as an "elongated horseshoe with a solid body" appeared. It was estimated to be 40-50 feet at the back end and 200-300 feet off the ground, about 100 feet above the redwoods. The craft had a series of lights pointing straight behind, and no navigation lights. Its sound was described as a mix of a Huey helicopter, a two-prop helicopter, and a jet engine, a "wah-wah-wah-wah like a dynamo." The craft moved at about 35 miles an hour. The back end was lit up like daylight, with six or seven large circles visible.

Gerald also recounts an incident around Easter of 1991, a Saturday night with a full moon, where he and his wife saw a circular white light source outside their house, initially mistaken for a reflection or a lamp. After turning off all lights, the source reappeared in a different position. Gerald described it as a "flashlight with a funny pear shaped filament," with an orange-red center and a white circle, not like a standard flashlight. The surrounding trees were lit with a purplish-white light, while the area between them and the house was pitch black. This event led to a sudden sense of panic, followed by an inexplicable urge to go back to bed, with a metallic taste in their mouths. Gerald believes this was an encounter, as it made no logical sense otherwise.

Gerald also discusses his hypnosis sessions, where he experienced a "flash back" to a session where a "little guy's face was right here in mine," taunting him. He describes a subsequent session where he was led outside, then behind the house, through redwood trees, to a structure with a geometric pattern and a series of "small case Y's." He was then seated in front of what looked like a bookcase with 15 items that flashed intermittently in purple light. He noted the presence of three "little guys" and one "tall guy" who was always in the background, in control. Gerald expressed frustration that the sessions were only about 40 minutes long, preventing him from learning more details.

Introduction to Fyffe, Alabama: Part VI

Authored by Ted Oliphant, III, Training Coordinator for MUFON No. California, this article details animal mutilation cases in Marshall and DeKalb counties, Alabama. For nearly two decades, animals have been found mutilated. The article mentions a house inhabited by "devil worshipers" and local suspicions. Specific incidents include a cow found missing sex organs and eyes, and a dead man found painted yellow. On October 20, 1992, a Black Angus/Holstein crossbreed cow was found mutilated, with its udder missing and incisions appearing to be cut by a straight edge, with minimal blood. The official report valued the cow at $600 and charged the offense as "criminal mischief." A second incident involved the evisceration of a male goat on November 7, 1992, with its penis and testicles neatly removed. Following these cases, Alabama instituted a new animal cruelty law making mutilations a felony. The Sheriff's departments initially claimed the mutilations were the work of coyotes, but farmers disagreed, and one was asked to keep quiet. The author's documentary "UFOs: A Need to Know" was circulated, leading to meetings with investigating officers Eric Croft, Andy Whitten, Ken Mote, and Mike Rice. The article also mentions Benny Womack, the acting Chief, and the cooperation received from the police department in allowing the author to investigate.

Mysteries in Mexico: A UFO Report

The expedition, involving MUFON members and researchers from the Bigelow Foundation, visited Metepec, Atlixco, Tepoztlan, and Mexico City. These beings reportedly spoke telepathically to prevent "the others" from erupting the volcano. Adriana, a 16-year-old girl, reported three visitations involving an intense green fluorescent light and a "round oval craft" landing on her lawn, leaving an oval-shaped ring formation. The article also features Carlos Dias and his wife Margarita, who shared experiences with "plasma ships" in Tepoztlan, showing photographs and video footage of luminous orange and red objects. Carlos reported being taken aboard a plasma craft and communicating telepathically.
