NH MUFON Case Log

Date: March 6, 1992, Place: Newton, NH
A mother reported observing a strange, white glowing light hovering over a swamp near her home around 9:00 PM. The light moved from side to side, approached her house, and then moved away. She described its size as that of a basketball at arm's length when it was closest. The light exhibited several maneuvers, including hovering, moving up and down, and zig-zagging. The investigation revealed that the witness had a previous multiple-witness CE I sighting.

Date: null, Place: Amesbury, MA
About ten years prior to the newsletter's publication, the witness was in a car when she spotted a bright light behind them. The object, described as a huge lighted object, passed in front of the car and stopped. It was estimated to be the size of three horse barns and at an altitude of about 100 feet. The craft had a disc-shaped bottom section with rectangular sections and a white light around its perimeter. The upper section resembled a giant hot air balloon. A spark-like object ejected from the bottom of the craft. The witness's mother in Plaistow, NH, saw a similar craft that same night. The case is ongoing, with children reporting seeing little men in their bedroom, and the witness has a scoop mark on her ankle.

Date: March 3, 1992, Place: Concord Area, NH
This entry details reports of flying triangles with white lights over New Hampshire skies. One witness described a huge triangular object with many blue-white lights covering the bottom, which caused his car to shake and emitted a sound. Sightings were reported in several towns, including Claremont, Newport, Bradford, Salisbury, and Penacook. A full report was promised for the next case log.
