The first group mentioned are the "Flame Lords" or "Cyclops" from Venus. These beings had evolved further than early humans and arrived before "Lucifer" conquered the planet, coming to save humanity from his influence. The Cyclops possessed a "third eye" in their forehead, which was a direct link to higher worlds via the mental plane, not the visual field.

Later, a group of "Sun Beings" or "El-humans" (Elohim) came from Sirius, one of the stars in the Big Dog constellation. They initially stayed in the stratosphere because Earth's vibrations were too coarse for them. They eventually settled in the Himalayas, where the air was pure. Many of these beings returned home after their work was done, but some remained, and through their work, many Indians were elevated to the "Brahman" caste. These original Brahmans are identified as the "Masters" that theosophists study, and the highest among them are now the "planetlogoi" guiding Earth's spiritual development.

The lesson then discusses "Temporary Visitors from Other Worlds in Later Times." It states that as humanity's development on the astral plane continues, the separation from the spiritual world will end, and Earth will open to interplanetary contacts. This is seen as the beginning of inter-planetary communication, exemplified by rocket launches aimed at the Moon and other planets, despite the initial weaknesses in this endeavor.

Lektion 18: The Task of Higher Incarnations Among Us

This lesson continues the discussion on beings from higher worlds visiting and residing on Earth to fulfill missions for the "Interplanetary Great Council." Their presence is seen as crucial for understanding the "new" that awaits humanity. The text cautions against sensationalist literature on the topic, suggesting that many books are motivated by profit rather than truth.

These visitors, who return to their home worlds after their missions, are characterized by "human love, willingness to sacrifice, and the desire to help." They receive the energy needed for their physical existence on Earth from "mother ships" in the stratosphere but lack a direct connection to Earth's currents.

In contrast, the "Masters" and their "brothers" have a different relationship. They have established a connection with humanity over long evolutionary periods. Their lowest bodies vibrate at a frequency that allows direct rapport with the cosmos. They only temporarily connect to Earth's currents when their work requires it.

The lesson then addresses "Incarnating on Our Earth." It highlights the importance of "Sirius humans" for humanity's development. Beings of high spirituality will seek to incarnate on Earth to establish a new race. This is possible because human vibrations have increased. Suitable parental pairs for incarnation are found among the "Brahmans" who have not left the chain of incarnation. As a path opens for such a start, incarnations will follow rapidly.

Contact with Earth's currents will be re-established as these beings' task is to stay. Their "kundalini" (a term for the body's contact with Earth via chakras) will develop, starting weakly and growing stronger. These beings have answered the call to join humanity out of a spirit of sacrifice, aiming to elevate humanity. They will maintain a superior status and will be distinct from other races due to their unique type. Humanity will learn to value their "love-work" and give them their rightful place, serving as our "superiors" who will guide us with wisdom and love.

The text poses a question about why high spiritual forces would sacrifice themselves for lower beings. It answers that these beings are not without reward; their striving for higher fields is facilitated by such sacrifice. A comparison is made to teachers who dedicate time to students, finding fulfillment in their task. Similarly, beings in the spiritual world obey their assignments, knowing it is for their own good.

This "higher race" will impart knowledge of the means of expression belonging to the astral plane, which is necessary for humanity to become fully developed "causal-selves." The initial steps of learning are the most difficult, but once the foundation is laid, humans will eagerly pursue new knowledge.

Lektion 18 (Continued): The Task of Higher Incarnations Among Us

This section discusses the introduction of new therapeutic methods in medical science, focusing on prophylactic measures to prevent diseases. It emphasizes the need for wisdom in utilizing these methods to ensure bodies become worthy dwellings for the "highest Spirit." Proper nutrition and correct breathing are highlighted as means to improve physical form.

Technological science, though advanced in the West, needs to be guided by these higher beings to incorporate spiritual laws, which have been alien to material science. The text mentions "Ether- and Astral Vision," explaining that the astral realm mirrors the "luciferic." Therefore, it is crucial to learn to distinguish the true and sincere person from one who hides their true self. This is achieved by reading the "Akashic Chronicle," a record of all lived experiences and memories from past lives. This ability is attained when the mind is freed from selfishness. It also involves observing the auras of fellow humans to perceive their moods and emotional reactions.

The text differentiates between fleeting expressions seen in the aura (astral body) and the character formed during past incarnations, which is stored in the etheric body as nature's memory. The lesson concludes by stating that understanding the dimensions of space-time, including "all-time" and the "eternal now," will enable the learning and practice of "timeless movement." This is compared to the abilities of highly developed yogis who originated from the Brahmanic lineage. These yogis should not be confused with fakirs, whose abilities are a lesser form of knowledge derived from higher spiritual worlds.
