This issue of BREVCIRKELN, a Swedish publication, features a section titled "Insändare" (Submissions/Letters) and a review of a book by Lobsang Rampa.

Insändare: Discussion on Reincarnation and Jesus's 'Secret Life'

The "Insändare" section begins by suggesting that those interested in Jesus's "secret life" can find more details in "Tid och Rum nr 1." It then presents a narrative, purportedly recorded before the year 100 AD in a Kashmiri monastery, detailing Jesus's 12 years of study in a Tibetan monastery.

During his studies, Jesus learned about the "Holy Scriptures from Mu" (Guldålderns Skrifter) and "cosmic science." Upon completing his twelfth year, he became a master. A discussion arose among the masters about reincarnation.

Jesus argued that the Scriptures from his homeland stated that it was not the human's material body that was reformed from the atoms of the previous material body, but rather the soul or spirit that was reborn. The other masters, however, maintained that both the spirit and the previous material body were reborn, and that the original atoms were reused.

The original text from Mu is quoted as saying: "The material body returns to the mother earth from which it came. Its elements are then used to build up other bodies." The interpretation provided is that "other bodies" refers to the future reincarnation bodies of the same human. The question is raised whether this means the human's new bodies or any bodies in nature's great register.

The subsequent scripture explains: "It is the human, the spirit, that is resurrected. The eternal human is a Divine Spark around which a house or enveloping body is built from the elements. This body begins with individual cells being formed and brought together by the smallest elements of Life Force, 'ziierna' (a quarter of an electron, the smallest part of Life Force). After a period, this elemental structure wears out and returns to the earth, freeing the Divine Spark. At a time determined by God, a new group of original cells is assembled, and a new covering is built for the Divine Spark. When it consists of nature's elements, it returns to the mother earth, freeing the Divine Spark anew. This continues, the Divine Spark being enclosed in one dwelling after another until it is finally called and returns to its origin, the Divine Source."

Book Review: The Cave of the Ancients by Lobsang Rampa

The issue also includes a mention of Lobsang Rampa's fourth book, "The Cave of the Ancients." It notes that his two preceding books, "The Rampa Story" and "Doctor from Lhasa," were published in 1960 and 1959, respectively. Rampa's first book, "The Third Eye," was published in 1956 and is the only one translated into Swedish, titled "Det Tredje Öga" (published by Bonniers in 1959).

"The Cave of the Ancients" is available in a convenient pocket-book format and can be ordered through bookstores or directly from Transworld Publishers Ltd., Park Royal Road, London N.W. 10, England. The edition mentioned is the Corgi Edition, GG 1320, priced at 3 shillings and 6 pence.

Recurring Themes and Editorial Stance

The recurring themes in this issue revolve around spiritualism, reincarnation, and esoteric knowledge, particularly concerning the life and teachings of Jesus as interpreted through ancient texts. The publication appears to be a platform for members to share their views and discuss topics related to the spiritual and the unexplained. The editorial stance seems open to exploring alternative interpretations of religious and spiritual concepts, as evidenced by the detailed discussion on reincarnation and the review of Lobsang Rampa's works, which often delve into similar themes.
