He recounts being invited aboard by a voice from the ship, which assured him, "Do not be frightened----we are not hostile." He entered the craft, which had a room approximately 6x7 feet. Inside, he met a man with 'cleancut features' wearing a 'flying suit' who spoke perfect English and appeared as curious about Padrick as Padrick was about him. Padrick believes the craft moved while he was aboard, and he briefly inspected the exterior, noting they were in the mountains without feeling any motion.

The ship reportedly had 14 rooms on two levels with a small elevator. Eight men and one woman, all wearing pale bluish-white flight suits, were on board. Padrick observed complex instrument panels and saw a large lens displaying a 'navigation craft' (Mothership) hovering in space. The spaceman told Padrick they were from a planet "MANY LIGHTS" AWAY.

Why the Space Visitors Are Here

What Did the Space People Look Like?

The men were described as approximately 5'9" to 5'10" tall, weighing 150 to 155 lbs, with short, wavy, dark auburn hair. The woman had long hair. Their features were similar to humans but with sharper chins and noses. Their skin was 'very light.' Their fingers were slightly longer than average, and their fingernails were immaculate.

They wore '2-piece suits -- slip-on type suits, light bluish-white in color,' which included integrated boots extending to the waistline. The collar had a pretty, V-shaped design with colorful braid.

Spaceman Spoke Perfect English

Padrick noted the spaceman spoke perfect English without any accent, suggesting they could adapt to any condition. He was told he was the only one of the nine crew members who could speak English.

Was There Any Telepathy Involved During Your Visit?

Details of Interior of Craft

The interior walls, floors, and ceiling were all the same shade of pale bluish-white. Rooms were rounded, with no square corners. Light seemed to emanate directly from the walls, with no visible light fixtures.

What Were the Instrument Panels Like?

Instrument panels were on the walls in every occupied room, with varying numbers of instruments. Markings on some instruments resembled a tape moving with dots and dashes, similar to teletype tapes. There were no screens like oscilloscopes, but there were meters whose dials were not visible. These lit up only when in use.

Scout Ship Was Controlled by a Mother-Ship Far Above

Padrick was shown an oblong lens displaying a magnified, 3-dimensional view of the 'Navigation Craft,' which he described as somewhat cigar-shaped but rounder in the middle, like a blimp. This craft was seen in sunlight at 2:45 or 3:00 A.M., estimated to be about 1000 miles out. He saw no markings or portholes. He was told this 'Navigation Craft' had been fired upon but not in combat. He estimated the scout ship's power source was transferred from the 'other craft' via a light beam or magnetic beam.

The Flight to a Remote Hillside

After the initial encounter, Padrick was moved to a remote hillside location, described as a place used by a large house-trailer in the summertime. He received letters describing trailer parks, and one matched the description of the location.

Did You Touch the Outside Surface of the Craft?

Padrick touched the hull, describing it as very hard but not metallic, similar to plexiglass but with a very fine, highly-polished finish. He experienced no ill effects.

The Photo of Their City

He was shown a photograph of their home planet, depicting buildings that were rounded, half-moon shaped, spaced about 50 to 150 feet apart, with visible windows, roads, and foliage. The photo was grey and very sharp in detail.

How They Live on Their Home Planet

Padrick reported that on their planet, there is no sickness, crime, vice, or police force. Their young are taught a job from an early age. Due to a long life expectancy, they have strict birth control, no money, and live as one.

Was Your Encounter Part of a Purposeful Plan?

Padrick stated the encounter was part of a purposeful plan involving a religious or spiritual aspect. He was taken to a 'Consultation Room,' described as chapel-like, with beautiful colors. He was asked if he wished to pay respects to the 'Supreme Deity,' and upon asking if it was the same as 'God,' he was told, "There is only One." He felt the presence of the Supreme Being during his prayer.

Was the Spaceman More of a Religious Leader Than a Scientist?

Padrick felt the spaceman was not primarily a scientific person, emphasizing that their relation with the Supreme Being was more important than their scientific ability. He concluded their religion and science were integrated.

Time & Distance

The visitors do not measure time and distance as humans do, but rather in terms of light. Their speed is limited only by the speed at which they can transfer their energy source.

Will They Contact Gov't Officials?

Padrick believes they will bypass government officials, particularly the military, stating they do not wish to make contact right now. He also mentioned they do not come armed and have no reason to attack, but humanity's attitude is to 'shoot down anything you can't identify.'

Are Any of the UFO's Hostile?

Padrick was not told by the spaceman that any craft were hostile. He was told the 'Navigation Craft' had been fired upon, but not in combat. He felt humanity was more vulnerable to them than they were to us.

How Could We Make Contact With Them?

Padrick stated it is up to them to make contact, as humans have no control. He was told he could not communicate with them as a radio amateur, and their means of communication are unknown, though they listen in on humans via beams (light or magnetic).

Can We Get Photos or Tangible Evidence?

Padrick did not think to ask for tangible evidence or photos during his visit, as the experience was a shock.

The Air Force's 3-Hour Grilling

Padrick recounted being questioned by the Air Force for three hours. He was asked not to publicly disclose certain details, such as the space people having no money or the specific type and shape of the craft. The Air Force reportedly confirmed that the craft had been in the area before and after the incident, and they did not want him to divulge their means of communication or power source. The spaceman's name, 'Xeno' (meaning 'stranger' or 'foreigner'), was also to be kept confidential.

Padrick believes they will contact him again, and the next contact will be his choice, initiated by him following instructions given by the spaceman.
