Club Activities and Meetings

Regional Representatives' Meeting

A meeting of KPUFO regional representatives was held on Saturday, August 20, 2008, in Prague. The meeting reviewed the current status and discussed the future development of KPUFO. Documents from the session will be available on the KPUFO.CZ website under 'DOKUMENTY'. Discussions included presentations on a summer expedition to England for agrosymbols and megaliths, the inclusion of the term 'psychotronics' on Wikipedia, and field research. A concern was raised about the increasing aggression of pseudoscientists and the need to highlight issues overlooked by state authorities, such as heritage protection, and to plan events collaboratively to avoid overlap.

Honorary Member and Awards

Petr Vachler, a screenwriter and director, was appointed an honorary member of KPUFO. Ing. Ivan Mackerle and Simona Šmídová were recognized for their research efforts.

Membership and Atmosphere

As of September 1, 2008, KPUFO had 707 members, an increase of over 15 from the previous year. The meeting was described as having a cordial atmosphere, fostering new acquaintances and future cooperation.

Resolutions (Usnesení)

The meeting of regional representatives on September 20, 2008, approved:

1. The activity report of the committee.
2. The report on KPUFO's financial status and the budget for 2009, along with guidelines for KPUFO's financial management.
3. The material: 'Media Presence of KPUFO'.
4. The auditor's report.
5. The composition of the committee and the audit commission.

Membership Fees

Membership fees remain as of 2007. For regular members, the minimum is 120 Kč, with higher voluntary contributions. For correspondence and honorary members, contributions are voluntary.

Committee Directives

The committee is tasked with:

• Regularly informing all members about events and activities via email, the intranet, the information bulletin, and in real-time forwarding received reports to local researchers for investigation.
• Coordinating the efforts of all components more quickly.
• Continuously informing the public about KPUFO through electronic newsletters, publications in regional and national press, and editorial activities.
• Ensuring proper accounting and rectifying any deficiencies identified by the auditor.
• Developing a database and archival materials for further research by KPUFO members, while preventing their misuse.
• Mediating disputes with other organizations.
• Developing international contacts within Eastern and Western Europe.

Responsibilities of Section and Branch Leaders:

• Developing professional projects and identifying contacts with other non-profit organizations for their realization.

Responsibilities of All Members:

• Seeking and securing information on KPUFO's core activities: anomalous atmospheric phenomena (UFO), agrosymbols in grain and grass, and anomalous phenomena of a psychotronic nature, and promptly informing the central KPUFO database.
• Assisting, within their capabilities, in solving specific issues for expert sections and other KPUFO members.
• Achieving a basic level of knowledge and skills in information technology, or securing it from their surroundings, to fully utilize KPUFO's resources.

Petr Vachler is appointed an honorary member.

Association of Researchers in Psychotronics (SDRUŽENÍ BADATELŮ V PSYCHOTRONICE)

The 7th meeting of enthusiasts of psychotronics, alternative medicine, etc., took place from September 19-21, 2008, at the Geofond recreation center in Chotěboř.

SEBIT Brno is organizing a symposium on informational medicine and therapy from Friday, October 17th (5 PM) to Saturday, October 18th (9 AM). Contact: M. Pavlíčková, A. International Relations of KPUFO

Further personal contacts have been established with researchers from the Russian organization Kosmopoisk in the Volgograd region (Volzhsky) and Astrakhan. A meeting also took place with the head of UFOKOM Belarus in Minsk. Gifts, CDs, and DVDs with films and photographs from expeditions were exchanged, and experiences from current activities were discussed.

KPUFO MEGALIT

On September 21, 2008, a measurement was conducted in the area of the 'Kounovské kamenné řady' (Kounov Stone Rows) to determine possible disruption of the radio field by magnetic substratum or the stones themselves. The event was attended by experts, KPUFO members, and FFC.

Society for the Research of Stone Crosses

The Society for the Research of Stone Crosses (Muzeum Aš, Mikulášská 3, Aš) invites members, friends, and supporters to its 25th meeting on September 27-28, 2008. Accommodation is available at Hotel Lev (phone 354525104) or other hotels and guesthouses in Aš and Františkovy Lázně.

KPUFO AGROSYMBOL

On Sunday, November 16, 2008, in Prague's Lucerna, a meeting will be held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the magazine 'Regenerace' and to meet the author of the book 'Circles in the Corn' by Eckhard Weber.

Reminder to Pay KPUFO Membership and Subscriptions:
