Magazine Overview

Membership and Contributions

The newsletter begins by celebrating the 12th anniversary of the KPU on May 14, 2003. Ing. Oldrich Valko, a researcher and author of books on the theoretical foundations of psychotronics, is named an honorary member. Members are reminded of their obligations, including paying the annual membership fee of 300 CZK and submitting a photo for their membership card. They are also urged to know their membership number for access to the internal KPUFO pages. Members are encouraged to contribute interesting materials, photographs from outings, and research findings to update the KPU pages for their respective districts. Assistance is also requested in the form of surplus office supplies, particularly A5 envelopes. Members are asked to stay in contact, update their email and mobile phone numbers, and promptly report any changes, enabling them to participate directly in the investigation of anomalous phenomena. The newsletter also encourages members to recruit new members and form local research groups. Members receive the ZAZ magazine and have access to the internal KPUFO pages, with priority given to requests for archival materials (written and video).

A CD commemorating the 12th anniversary is available for 100 CZK. It contains the KPUFO website, information on all regions, albums of megaliths in the Czech Republic, internal KPUFO*2000 pages, and themed pages from KPU branches. Orders should be sent in writing or by email to KPU. The CD will be sent after payment and will be accompanied by the next issue of ZAZ. Members are also asked to help process and transcribe cases and materials from the club archive, particularly UFO and anomalous psychotronic phenomena.

Reports on Events and Activities

The Czech Psychoenergetic Society held a general assembly where they discussed and approved a "moral code of conduct for healers" and other methodological guidelines.

In March 2003, a joint meeting of researchers from KPUFO, Projekt Zare, Klub Zablesk, Badatelske centrum Statenice, and Fantastic fact club took place. The meeting facilitated the exchange of experiences and led to agreements on concrete cooperation and the resolution of disagreements.

On April 26, 2003, FFC organized a seminar at Houska Castle focusing on the history and cases related to the castle. Attendees could purchase a compilation of data and articles about the castle, titled "The Castle Narrates," published by the local custodian.

On April 26, 2003, the festival of Jarovita was held for the umpteenth time at the Slavic fortified settlement in Dolni Brezany. This event, organized by the association supporting Slavic roots "Rodna vira," included a procession with Morena, featuring international participation. The procession started from Zbraslav accompanied by drums, pipes, and bagpipes, culminating in a traditional Slavic ritual of burning Morena and celebrating Jarovita. Upcoming Research and Projects

Preparations are underway for research into prehistoric rock carvings in the Val Camonica valley in Italy during the summer months. The newsletter calls for volunteers to assist with correspondence with international researchers.

Past information about the "New Ufological Doctrine" and an "Open Letter" from Lithuanian researchers is revisited. Upon translation, it was found that their views on the subject were similar to KPU's approach over 10 years ago, and their current tasks are quite different.

A specific tombstone in Paris is being sought. It is described as being near the guillotine inventor Dr. Guillotin's tomb at the Pere-Lachaise cemetery, with the inscription: ANNE 1920-1971 BARBARIA ATQUE RETICENTIA ADIUNCTUM BARBATI BASIS ATRII SACRI. Readers are asked to provide any information or photos if they can confirm this.

Researchers are asked to send any materials from their archives related to the phenomenon of déjà vu and déjà vecu (already seen).

New internet pages titled "Contacts and Conters" have been launched. These pages provide an overview of UFO sects and contactees worldwide and in the Czech Republic, and include an album of alien beings, a typological classification from fourth-kind encounters. Information is sought regarding the author of the book "Confession of a Druid," Mr. Jan Johann Jaroslav.

An experiment was previously prepared to test the functionality of a patent by Czech inventor K. Drbala for sharpening razor blades in a pyramid. The experiment involves shaving half of a test subject's face with a blade from a pyramid and the other half with a blade not from a pyramid. The experiment is ready, but the need for uniformly manufactured pyramids according to Drbala's invention is highlighted. Assistance is requested for the production of at least 5 identical pyramids.

Publications and Resources

The latest issue of the KPU magazine, ZAZ no. 2/2003, has been released. Members who are missing any issues or volumes are encouraged to request them.

The first researcher's handbook (I) – "Materials for UFO Research" – has been published for KPU members. Researchers from KPUFO and Projekt Zare collaborated on its creation. Further handbooks are planned, covering materials for agro-symbol research and basic information on psychotronic issues.

A new book by O. Valko, "Psychotronics - basic theoretical concept," is available. Information and orders can be placed at www.ben.cz. The book is a brochure, 135 pages, priced at 199 CZK.

The UFO Magazin has resumed publication after a long hiatus. It is described as a quarterly A4 magazine with a glued spine, laminated cover, 64 pages plus cover. The magazine, originating from Slovakia, covers paranormal topics with a slightly different focus than Czech publications. The editorial team is noted for not shying away from controversial subjects, and the magazine's scope is broadening from "UFO" to encompass all paranormal phenomena.
