Research and Collaboration

Pan Milan N. is seeking collaborators within KPU to participate in a comprehensive mapping and research project of megalithic structures in the Czech Republic. The goal is to understand their purpose and distribution. He is looking for individuals interested in this complex and demanding research.

Seminars and Courses

The "Cesta" society (located at Palackeho 10, Plzen) is offering various nature retreats and courses:

Astronomical Events and Activities

The amateur astronomical observatory E. Halley's Hradek near Nechanice is hosting "Astronomical Windows" on June 15 (7 PM), August 3 (8 PM), and September 14 (6 PM). They are also organizing the "III. Alien Picnic" on June 29 (starting at 2 PM), with camping, a campfire, and an astronomical program. On October 5, 1996, they will celebrate the 10th anniversary of AAO (at 2 PM). A drawing and painting competition for "aliens and the universe" is also announced. AAO EH has provided information on the observation of Comet Halle-Bopp (1996-97), which can be obtained by sending a self-addressed envelope with 5 stamps.

Material Requests

There is a need for strong, thin, and lightweight cable, at least 600 meters long, preferably from a PT guided missile. Additionally, a single-channel model radio transmitter with a small receiver and a servo (preferably not micro) is sought. All items should be compatible and operate on permitted frequencies, with payment offered.

Corrections and Announcements

A correction is made regarding a previous announcement: E. von Daniken's lecture is on 3 tapes, each 90 minutes long, not 2 as previously stated.

KPU emblems on T-shirts will be available this summer. Inquiries should be directed to KPU.

Transcription and Translation Needs

KPU is looking for individuals willing to transcribe magnetic tape recordings from the KPU archive, particularly testimonies of witnesses to anomalous phenomena. Tapes will be provided, and postage will be reimbursed, but unfortunately, this work cannot be compensated at this time.

There is also a request for someone who can translate and dub video programs from German on the topics of UFOs and abductions.

Information Requests

KPU is seeking information about an organization called "Modra alfa" (Blue Alpha).

Psychoenergetic Society (PES) Events

The Psychoenergetic Society (PES) is organizing several events:

• June 19: "Povidani o zivote" (Talking about Life) with PhDr. M. Fouckova.
• September 25: "Slunce, Mesic, pocasi a clovek" (Sun, Moon, Weather and Man) with RNDr. Zakopcanik.
• November 20: "Shrnuti vyzkumu geoanomalnich zon v r. 1996" (Summary of Research of Geo-anomalous Zones in 1996) with Ing. K. Dvoracek.

These events are held at Novotneho lavky 5, Prague 5, in the CSVTS building. Short-term seminars are also scheduled on the same address on:

Sisyfos Newsletter and Other Information

The second issue of the Sisyfos Newsletter (1/96) is announced to contain articles on the meeting of Sisyfos with President Havel, L. Perek's "Vedni povedomi" (Principles of scientific work, pseudoscience), M. Kocaba's stance on clairvoyance, "Healers in the Arena" (January 3, 1996), "In France like in our country" (influence of paved surfaces), "The hour of stars did not happen" (astrology), "Utopian Archimedes or science upside down" (astrology, energy, Filipino healers, geopathic zones, yeti, spiritualism, UFO, etc.).

KPU is seeking individuals or contacts in the Trebic district and surrounding areas who are aware of or interested in anomalous phenomena. The "International Spiritual-Ufological Organization" operated by M. Herzana is active there, and KPU is looking for rational collaborators. Those interested in the "MDO Newsletter" can send a self-addressed envelope with 4 stamps.

There is a request for help in gathering material about the mysterious fire that destroyed Chicago on October 8-9, 1871. The requester is trying to compile a larger study and would be grateful for any information or leads.

Seminars and Retreats in South Bohemia

Seminars with Dr. M. Fouckova are being held in Hluboka nad Vltavou on May 31 - June 1, 1996, and June 1-2, 1996, costing 490 CZK. A recreational and educational retreat is scheduled in Chelcice near Vodnany from July 1-6, 1996, with free time during the day and seminars and lectures in the afternoon and evening. Spiritual Development
