The newsletter outlines three potential approaches for publishing these reports: presenting all cases, selecting only a few for a more popular but less useful publication, or issuing a statistical analysis with hypotheses and case examples. Crucially, the organization emphasizes the need for clear rules regarding the handling and use of collected materials, especially when personal information is involved, citing an experience with a "Mr. Novak."

Research Methodology and Data Handling

The KPU stresses the importance of making research findings accessible to all members, not just those directly involved in data collection. Psychotronics Research

While the KPU's psychotronics activities have included bioterapy and biodiagnostics, there is a lack of a coherent research concept. Potential avenues include monitoring the effectiveness of healers, conducting telepathic experiments, and utilizing individuals with special abilities. However, the newsletter points out the need for well-developed methodologies, proper execution, and thorough documentation, noting that without these, experiments are effectively non-existent. Although many members are interested in psychotronics, practical results are limited, with only a few individuals achieving reliable outcomes in dowsing or pendulum work. The KPU is open to supporting and participating in experiments involving altered states of consciousness, such as hypnosis, while emphasizing caution.

Other Research Areas

A group dedicated to cryptozoology has been formed, with its activities primarily focused abroad, but it plays a vital role in addressing biological questions. Astrology is considered to have moved into the commercial sphere, leaving little room for research, but it can be used as an auxiliary method.

Crop Circles and Future Preparations

Research into crop circles requires processing data collected over two years and producing a publication that goes beyond mere listing of occurrences to include analytical work. Given the likely lack of interest from mainstream scientific circles, the KPU plans to prepare better for the next season. This includes improving communication with members across the Czech Republic, establishing a network of collaborators, and forming mobile, well-equipped research groups capable of real-time investigation.

Communication and Publications

The KPU will continue to publish the magazine "ZAZ" and plans to issue an "Informacni bulletin" monthly in the coming year. To function as a serious, nationwide organization, the KPU must be useful to all members and demonstrate its ability to gather knowledgeable individuals.

Resolutions and Proposals

The annual meeting acknowledged the report on KPU's activities and future prospects, as well as the financial report. The proposed budget and the direction of KPU's activities were approved. Members are urged to stay in contact with the committee, seek sponsors for financial and technical support, raise public awareness of KPU's programs, and recruit collaborators from other institutions. The committee is tasked with establishing contacts with state organizations and media outlets. Several individuals were appointed as honorary members for their contributions.

Membership and Fees

The membership fee for 1995 was set at 100 CZK for employed members and 80 CZK for unemployed, students, and pensioners. Correspondence members will pay 80 CZK. The increase in fees is intended to cover the costs of sending information bulletins and other materials to all members.

Upcoming Events and Lecture Series

Starting in the autumn, a series of lectures, discussions, and seminars titled "Alternative World" will be launched. This series aims to provide attendees with unusual perspectives on the world, focusing on boundary phenomena, hypotheses, and speculations, and confronting them with existing scientific knowledge. The series will encourage active participation and dialogue. The initial themes include "The Universe" (covering scientific and mythological perspectives), "The Solar System" (including origins, cosmogony, and the possibility of life on other planets), "The Search for Extraterrestrial Civilizations" (discussing SETI programs and UFO explanations), and "Earth and Terrestrial Civilizations" (exploring scientific and alternative theories of human civilization).

The newsletter reflects a strong emphasis on the KPU's commitment to independent research, methodological rigor, and comprehensive documentation, particularly in the fields of UFO phenomena, psychotronics, and other fringe topics.
