This issue of the ICFUFOR Journal presents a compilation of numerous reports detailing sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and unexplained aerial phenomena (UAP) primarily occurring in Israel between July and October 2005. The journal serves as a record of eyewitness accounts, often including descriptions of the objects' appearance, behavior, and perceived characteristics.

Sightings Reports

Beer-Sheba, July 27, 2005 Yaniv reported observing a round object around midnight, approximately 40-50 meters above him. The object displayed red-green lights, resembling a symmetric ring, and was shining. It moved slightly. At 02:00, the object was still visible to the naked eye, even though Yaniv was using a telescope.

Beer-Sheba, August 2, 2005 Eliyahoo Roizman described seeing a large, bright yellow light with a high-speed blinking light at its far end. The UFO was distant and flew south, making a turn above the Air-Force Museum before disappearing. Roizman noted its slow, silent movement, distinguishing it from known aircraft, RPVs, balloons, and airplanes, calling it "something different, strange and unusual."

Nesher, August 2, 2005 Abi Greiff observed a flying object from his balcony at 18:23. The object appeared to be composed of three parts: two dark sides and a bright middle. The bright part glittered, and the object moved steadily eastward, against the wind, sometimes appearing to turn on itself. It had a flat shape when viewed from the side. Greiff estimated its altitude to be no more than 100 meters and its distance about 300 meters, with a size of no more than 1 meter. It disappeared in the direction of Tiv'on.

Natanya, August 23, 2005 Michal, a 13-year-old, reported seeing a blue object composed of short and long blue stripes of light approaching her grandmother's house in Jerusalem Street at 02:00. The object, located about 100 meters above, sounded like a track or a big lorry. After it passed, a strong light, like multiple flashlights, appeared, and Michal experienced memory loss. She woke up later on the kitchen floor, unable to move for about 10 minutes, with her diskman broken and its data erased. She reported suffering from headaches and hoarseness since the event.

Ramat-Ha'Sharon, August 27, 2005 A resident and a friend observed an unusual object in the sky, described as not being a star or planet, located low in the western sky.

Na'aleh, August 29, 2005 Hanoch Nebo reported observing a yellowish object through binoculars at 19:57, moving north. He stated it was not a satellite.

Beer-Sheba, September 1, 2005 Eliyahoo Roizman observed two objects from 20:10, described as "lamps inside paper lampshades." They moved slowly at high altitude near Jupiter and Venus. One object was pinkish, and the other was yellowish. They moved north and were visible for about 40 minutes.

Yokne'am, September 2, 2005 Shawn Shitrit and three witnesses (around 17 years old) reported seeing yellow lights in the sky between 21:00 and 23:00 above Megiddo. Initially, three lights appeared and disappeared, followed by a vertical sequence of five lights that faded. Later, three lights appeared in a different configuration. The witnesses saw similar lights on September 3rd and intend to videotape them. This sighting was reported to Hannan Sabat and published online.

Haifa, September 3, 2005 Yevgeni videotaped unexplained orange lights at 01:00 above the Nave-Sha'anan ridge. The lights formed a wide triangular shape and blinked, with one light turning off at a time. Yevgeni claimed the lights were 30 cm in height from his perspective, above the lower-Galilee Mountains. The footage was captured with a digital camera.

Ma'a lot, July 15 – September 18, 2005 Shimon Rosenberg documented his observations between July and September, mostly videotaping the events. On July 15, he videotaped a lit spherical object and later a bright orange spherical object at high altitude that turned clockwise and disappeared. On July 16, he saw a bright object, followed by another lit object at high altitude, and then two orange flashes. On July 20, he videotaped an object, and another appeared two minutes later. On July 21, a bright object grew larger and then shrank; he videotaped it as it passed overhead. On August 10, an orange spherical light appeared, strengthened, faded, and disappeared, followed by another orange object. On August 20, a bright orange object changed direction, its light increasing and then shrinking, and it increased speed while flying away. On August 24, a hovering orange object performed zigzag movements before shrinking and disappearing. On August 26, a lighted object appeared, its light increased, then shrank and disappeared; Rosenberg managed to videotape it. On August 31, an orange-yellow object appeared high in the sky, increased speed, and disappeared; it was videotaped. On September 3, a big orange object appeared near the moon, increasing its lights, moving slowly, shrinking, and disappearing. On September 18, a very big orange sphere appeared, flew slowly, increased speed, shrank, and disappeared near the moon.

Marmaris, Turkey, September 5, 2005 Eli Joseph photographed a dark, rounded, and flat object in the sky while taking landscape photos. The object was not very high and appeared in an oblique position. Eli did not see the object during photography but discovered it when downloading the images.

Sea shore, between Atlit and Haifa, September 9, 2005 Abi Greiff observed a bright orange light north of Zihron-Ya'akov, lower than urban lights. The light illuminated clouds above it. Approaching Atlit, the light moved fast, like a jet plane, stopped north of Atlit, and then disappeared. It reappeared in a northern location, then turned off but illuminated a cloud. A reddish light spot was observed inside the cloud. The light reappeared above the sea, sent a strip of light towards the sea, and then appeared in front of Tirat Ha'Carmel. It was last seen above the city in the southern sky. The observation lasted until approximately 21:20, with the object consistently low above the sea, near the shore.

Michmoret, September 9, 2005 Abi Greiff saw an orange dim light in the west at 21:05, at an altitude of approximately 400 meters. It turned off after a few seconds and reappeared in a more southern location, repeating this pattern three times before disappearing. The object was located near the sea shore.

Ein Sarid, October 7, 2005 Haya and her husband observed a bright orange object for over half an hour in the Tel-Mond area, west direction, under the clouds. The object changed color from darker to lighter and was about the size of the moon. Dogs in the area barked loudly. At 20:30, the object appeared to lower and fly downwards.

Mrar, October 13, 2005 A local resident of Mrar, Alia (age 23), reported seeing a far yellow light at 18:00, after Yom Kippur. The light flew east, changing speed, and the observation lasted about one minute.

Beer-Sheba, October 23, 2005 Aviv, age 15, reported seeing a "condensed" boomerang-shaped object with a light in the center of its curve at approximately 18:00. The object was visible for a few seconds before shrinking and disappearing. It was flying at the altitude of airplanes and helicopters.

Recurring Themes and Editorial Stance

The recurring themes in this issue of the ICFUFOR Journal are the consistent reporting of unexplained aerial phenomena across various locations in Israel and Turkey during the summer and early autumn of 2005. The journal's stance appears to be one of documentation and dissemination of these eyewitness accounts, presenting them without overt skepticism or endorsement. The variety in reported object shapes, colors, behaviors, and perceived characteristics suggests a broad spectrum of phenomena being observed. The inclusion of attempts at photographic and video documentation, alongside detailed descriptions of movement and appearance, highlights the journal's commitment to recording these events. The editorial focus is on presenting the raw data of sightings, allowing readers to draw their own conclusions.
