Magazine Overview

This document is an informational bulletin, issue number 5/2010, dated October 3, 2010, from the KLUB PSYCHOTRONIKY A UFO KPUFO.SK/EU, representing the Slovak Republic. The bulletin's primary purpose is to announce and discuss the club's initiative to stimulate open dialogue and collaboration within the Slovak ufology community.

What We Want

The author acknowledges that their initiative may have disrupted the previously calm state of Slovak ufology but states they cannot help but pursue it. The goal is not to unite Slovak ufology but to initiate a discussion among equal subjects concerning conceptual problems and international relations within the field. This demand is firm and will not be retracted. The author believes this initiative might have clashed with individuals who wish to present themselves as spokespersons for all of Slovak ufology. The club desires equal cooperation and discussion, asserting that this is not interference in others' affairs but a refusal to allow interference in their own intentions and activities.

Magazine?

Five years have passed since the cessation of the magazine 'UFO magazín'. Despite the advantages of the internet, there is a lack of a unifying element where researchers could address their issues. 'UFO magazín', although it had its problems, allowed for a certain level of debate and enabled researchers to publish their opinions and letters from readers. This is no longer possible with the advent of commercial magazines. The club is presenting a project for a joint research magazine or newsletter. This publication would feature original, controversial, and polemical articles, research findings, and survey results. It would not reprint foreign articles or copy content from the internet but would present original viewpoints, comments, and genuine research thoughts and materials. The author poses the question of whether it would be appropriate to consider organizing such a joint research magazine, perhaps inspired by the 'Pegas' magazine from UFO klub Zlin, but with better quality. This publication would also feature contributions from people with diverse perspectives. The magazine would be available online, with the option to print it for distribution at various meetings and events. If the project gains traction, it might be possible in the future to approach a publisher to take it over and publish it in a conventional manner, similar to how 'Fantastická fakta' began in the Czech Republic and continues to be published. The author has already contacted several individuals to help create the structure and design of such a magazine, but these are still early-stage considerations and preparations. Readers are asked for their thoughts on this project, whether it would be beneficial to discuss it together, especially regarding the overall concept, title, and sections. Any idea is welcome.

Slovak Ufology

For those interested in participating in the resolution of UFO cases and other anomalous phenomena occurring in Slovakia, or in discussing related questions, an invitation is extended to write. A dedicated space is available on Google WEBY (accessible via google.sk, then 'další> WEBY' in the top left search box) for internal resolution of such issues. By clicking 'Zaregistrovať sa do služby weby' (Register for the web service) on the right, users can gain access and further information. Dozens of UFO cases are already prepared for visitors.

News

The club plans to change the appearance of their portal at http://www.kpufo.eu/sk. Weekly overviews of internet news and new materials will be published, with new content added every 3-5 days. Recent materials include: 'Záhadný otlačok' (Mysterious Imprint), 'Videnie alebo únos?' (Vision or Abduction?), 'Tatranské cesty UFO' (UFO Trails in the Tatras), and 'Záhada v Bratislave' (Mystery in Bratislava).

New Books

A new book is highlighted: 'Kameny krve a víry 1' (Stones of Blood and Faith 1) by Pavel Kroupa, published by Karpana in Prague in 2010. It has 280 pages, with 140 pages of photographs. Pavel Kroupa has been researching menhirs and ancient settlements in Europe for many years. He is described not as a dreamer but as someone who seeks rational explanations supported by his own research. The publication includes unique aerial photographs of the described locations, which have not been previously published, taken by the author himself. Information on how to purchase the book is provided, including a link to the publisher's website and contact information.

Visit Our Websites

An invitation is extended to visit their websites. For participation in solving UFO cases and discussing anomalous phenomena in Slovakia, or for other questions, one can write to [email protected]. The Google WEBY service is also mentioned again as a platform for internal resolution of such questions. The process of registration and obtaining access is reiterated. Additionally, links are provided for 'Záhady vo fotografii' (Mysteries in Photography) – including Slovak cases – and a map and list of Slovak agro symbols (crop circles) at http://www.kpufo.cz/oblasti/agr/cc/cccizi/tab sr.htm, with a request for corrections and additions.
