• Rational Mind: This is presented as a mind-control force that has limited consciousness for thousands of years. Awareness suggests that as the "holistic, or holy mind" becomes more prevalent, entities will gain greater freedom from mind control. Rational thinking is characterized by linear, step-by-step logic based on premises, often starting with the assumption that all is matter. Holistic thinking, in contrast, is in harmony with experience and recognizes the interconnectedness of all things.
• Philosophy: While philosophy can be a powerful tool for understanding life, Awareness suggests that excessive philosophizing can be a diversion from the act of living itself. It can lift an entity out of his struggles but also out of life if one becomes too focused on thinking about living rather than living.
• Belief: Belief is identified as the most deeply used mind control force. Awareness urges entities not to believe anyone, including itself, but instead to question, doubt, examine, and experience. True understanding comes from living fully, negating the need for faith. While acknowledging that some may rely on authority, it stresses that understanding the nature of belief is essential for freedom.
