Latvia

A research group called Cosmopoisk has been formed in Cyprus.

Russia

RUFORS (Russian Ufological Research Station) has released its first DVD, featuring video segments and news materials compiled over the last seven years. The DVD includes rare footage of Perm diggers, some of which were first broadcast on Perm channels in 2003, as well as recent news stories. RUFORS plans to release an additional 2-3 DVDs. Discs can be picked up at the first building of PGU during working days from 9:00 to 17:00, requiring the exchange of one recorded disc for one blank disc.

The content of the first DVD includes:

Future DVDs will feature additional news segments filmed with RUFORS's participation from 2004-2007, as well as TV programs for channels like '1 Channel', 'Ren-TV', 'THT', 'Zvezda', 'National Geographic', and others. The series will conclude with video reports from expeditions to anomalous zones and joint expeditions with Japanese, American, Polish, and other researchers of anomalous phenomena. These DVDs are intended to provide insights into RUFORS's work in studying the unknown.
