Article: George Adamski - Telepathy Part 1

This section begins with a photograph of George Adamski. The article defines telepathy as the natural faculty for all forms of life to communicate their feelings to all other forms. It asserts that Nature responds to this law, and every element participates freely to form a unified whole.

The text posits that man is a thought in action, but due to limited understanding, has caused chaos. While man possesses the tools to work, he has lost the knowledge of their aptitude to serve him, particularly in the greater domains of self-forgetfulness and personal expression.

Man's capacity for progression and spreading thoughts is compared to a kaleidoscope. By elevating his consciousness to unity with the Cosmos, man achieves plenitude of life through diversity and perpetual change.

To achieve this, one must understand that touch is a nerve of reaction, and sensitivity is a state of alert. True alertness is conscious consciousness, found within Cosmic Knowledge.

Chapter 1, "LA TELEPATHIE - LE LANGUAGE COSMIQUE" (Telepathy - The Cosmic Language), discusses how scientific archives contain many life enigmas that remain unanswered. It suggests that a curious mind may uncover these, and a benevolent power may offer suggestions for clarification. This power, beyond human reason, can imprint truth on an individual's consciousness to encourage deeper seeking.

The article notes that civilization has historically been fearful of individuals receiving visions of future events or distant mental impressions. It mentions that the Société de Recherche Physique, through M. MYERS, introduced the term "Telepathy" in 1885 to cover cases of receiving impressions at a distance without normal sensory operation.

Initially relegated to unsolved problems, telepathy gained scientific consideration about 10 years after World War I, being incorporated into research departments of universities. While once attributed to magic or witchcraft, current university experiments have led to the conclusion that telepathy is a defined fact. However, the science is struggling, placing telepathy in the realm of mystical supposition rather than practical analysis, creating a weak foundation.

The article argues that it is time to move telepathy out of confusion and establish it as a universal cosmic language. It notes a recent global trend towards ideas that foster better understanding and patient relations between people and nations. Advancements like radio, television, and wireless telegraphy have unified the world, prompting discussions among scientists about developing a universal language for easier international exchange.

Despite attempts like Esperanto and Ro, no universally approved word system has emerged. The article suggests that a language is typically a system of image-words, either written or spoken. However, spoken and written words have limited domains. The original proponents of a universal language may be surprised to learn their inspiration came from Nature's manual, as a universal language exists, eternal as the Cosmos, encompassing not just human expression but that of all living things.

This universal language is simple enough for a newborn to understand. It is described as the "sentimental impulse, creative, invisible, which is the Cosmic Intelligence, flowing, as Cosmic Force, through all manifestation." This Cosmic Cause or Universal Force is in constant motion, acting on all objects.

This "mental telepathy" is the great universal language that, once understood by all, will break down artificial barriers of race and belief. Pride, deceit, and vanity will fall, leading to humanity's unity with itself and with Nature. Every atom in the universe is capable of speaking and understanding this language.

Conscious thought is known on all planes of consciousness and cannot be hidden. Cosmic thought is absolute truth and cannot be diverted. It is the law of activity that acts without discrimination.

The article recounts that telepathy was the means of communication used in Adamski's first encounter with a visitor from another planet, as explained in his book "INSIDE THE SPACE SHIPS." It is presented as a Law of Nature or Universal Law, not mysterious or incomprehensible.

A person's mind automatically directs bodily movement, composes thoughts before audible expression, and continuously receives impressions. The undeveloped mind rejects unfamiliar thoughts and retains those confirming existing opinions. Thus, until self-understanding, man is guided by the world of effects.

An adage states, "the natural man knows the path of the spirit, while the unnatural man does not know the path of the spirit." Recognizing unity with the Cosmic Cause and using its laws means one no longer needs an instructor, as the Law itself gives life and becomes the Master. The universal language, used daily without conscious recognition, speaks through the profound resonance of thunder and communicates in the silence of Creation's repose.

No single model can be established for all, as humans are not identical. The Law can only be presented, and its application will vary based on individual understanding. The principle applies to all.

To benefit from this lesson, one must start with self-understanding: the parts of oneself, their actions, what controls thought, and the conflict between inner self and the external world. One must understand emotional reactions before expressing the fullness of life.

A vital truth to remember is that the Cosmos has no beginning or end; it is eternal activity. Man was created to be the perfect expression of all expressions, endowed with reason to understand all effects in life. Man is naturally capable of understanding all degrees of Cosmic expression. However, through ignorance, this divine gift has been misused, leading to judgment and condemnation. This causes a feeling of separation from the Giver of life. By rejecting the chains of the carnal mind, one becomes the knower and communes with the Cosmic Cause. All of Nature works in harmony with the Supreme Intelligence, while man alone remains the sole alterer of the Law.

The article intends to explain the necessity of uniting the Cosmic Man and the Terrestrial Man. Telepathic reception will come from both, but one must distinguish between the thoughts of a person with limited understanding (expressing discrimination, division, judgment) and the impressions from the Cosmic Man (bringing understanding and compassion without judgment). This is how Truth is expressed, and in its presence, there is no doubt.

The study of telepathy does not aim to interfere with religious beliefs but is presented as a Universal Law, not a religion.

Further Discussion on Telepathy and Cosmic Law

The knowledge of this Law provides a greater understanding of oneself and one's relationship with the cosmos. Highly developed "space people" have learned that in their natural state, all life expresses itself through free, joyful action. They view daily obligations not as burdens but as privileges to serve the Cosmic Cause. Trained since childhood in self-care and mind usage, they avoid discordant thoughts, understanding the chemical processes of the body. Their sensitive spirit is coordinated with the Spirit-Cause, allowing every body cell to respond to the spirit's commands. Through this Law, their bodies remain solid and youthful, unconcerned with age. They recognize that all life is constantly active, with every particle of creation fulfilling its duty in free expression, independent of the Cause.

When we can employ this joyful, restful state of mind in daily life, our consciousness will elevate, and impressions of universal value will come naturally. This does not mean ignoring the world; man was born to live as a participant in humanity, with no right to turn away. True understanding or evolution will invigorate interest in fellow humans, recognizing kinship with all.

The article concludes with "à suivre" (to be continued).

Recurring Themes and Editorial Stance

The recurring themes in this issue are telepathy, cosmic intelligence, and the concept of a universal language derived from nature. The editorial stance, as presented by BUFOI and its affiliation with IGAP, is one of seeking knowledge about extraterrestrial visitors, promoting understanding and unity, and presenting these concepts as natural laws rather than religious dogma. The publication is explicitly non-political, non-religious, non-sectarian, and non-profit, aiming to inform the public and encourage a higher cultural level through advanced concepts of life.

This issue of "ETUDE DES LOIS NATURELLES" (Study of Natural Laws), identified by the number 8 and likely from 1978, focuses on the intriguing topic of "Les Rythmes Cosmiques" (Cosmic Rhythms). The cover art depicts a stylized human head with radiating cosmic symbols, suggesting a connection between humanity and the universe.

Cosmic Rhythms and Natural Laws

The lead article explores the growing interest in cosmic rhythms and natural laws. It highlights how people are investigating numerous sites globally to understand the construction of monuments and the sanctification of places. The article notes that while many questions remain, scientists are now delving into this field, especially since the International Geophysical Year in 1957 and the influx of information from space probes, which have opened new perspectives on our relationship with the universe.

The Earth Grid and Anomalous Sites

Captain Bruce Cathie's book "Harmonic 33" (1968) is discussed, detailing his discovery of a vast Earth grid system. At the intersections of this grid, he found sites of particular interest, including volcanoes, areas of anomalous gravity, the Great Pyramid, and Stonehenge. Cathie's research suggests that fundamental factors like mass, the speed of light, and gravitational acceleration are linked to the grid's geometry. The article posits that locations where these grid lines intersect might have special effects on the human system. German scientists have reportedly identified numerous secondary magnetic poles on Earth's crust, similar to sensitive acupuncture points.

Lyall Watson's Research on Natural Phenomena

Biologist Lyall Watson, in his book "Gifts of Unknown Things" (1976), offers explanations for certain natural phenomena based on his experiences. He describes a sacred plateau in Indonesia, featuring stone discs, which he identified as a giant solar calendar. Watson observed that during equinoxes and solstices, the sun set behind natural landmarks on the plateau. He also experienced nausea at sunrise on this plateau, later discovering that during the twilight period, the Earth's base frequency increases significantly. Watson suggests that certain sites may act as natural resonance chambers, accentuating Earth's natural beat frequency. He also speculates that the presence of certain minerals or variations in magnetic currents could influence humans and animals.

Cultural Beliefs and Rhythms

The issue touches upon cultural beliefs related to natural energies. Chinese traditions of feng-shui aim to harmonize living spaces with invisible currents of energy. Australian Aborigines believe spirits in stones create rain and fertility, and their rituals are designed to stimulate this energy flow. The inhabitants of the Indonesian Archipelago perform a dance ritual involving a gong struck 69 times, a number Lyall Watson later found to be related to the Earth's ionosphere acting as a natural resonance chamber, releasing powerful energy pulses 69 times a day. This coincidence is presented as a remarkable reaction to cosmic rhythms.

Physical Evidence of UFO Landings

A section titled "PREUVES PHYSIQUES RELEVEES SUR DES SITES D'ATTERRISSAGE" (Physical Evidence Found at Landing Sites) examines the possibility of UFOs being extraterrestrial machines. It discusses tangible traces left by UFOs, such as burnt vegetation, flattened grass, and holes in the ground, suggesting clues about their propulsion methods. The work of Lieutenant Plantier and Léonard G. Cramp is highlighted, particularly Cramp's "Piece for a Jigsaw," which elaborates on UFO propulsion systems.

Cramp's Bi-Field Theory

Léonard G. Cramp proposes that UFOs are surrounded by a force field with negative and positive poles, akin to an electromagnet. He suggests these are points of space modulation, one acting as a 'pro-gravitation' point and the other as 'anti-gravitation'. The attractive upper point would lift the machine, while the repulsive lower point would push it upwards. This mechanism could explain the density changes in the air above and below the craft, leading to optical illusions. The distance between these 'foyers' and their power would determine the craft's speed and the formation of landing craters. Emergency takeoffs would involve immense power, potentially creating deep, conical holes.

Landing Site Evidence

Craters and 'characters' attributed to UFO landings have been found at sites like Niton, Isle of Wight, and Slackstead. The shape and orientation of these marks, whether oblique or bifurcated, are discussed in relation to wind effects and the craft's movement. The article notes that while the attractive force might partially neutralize the repulsive force, the latter remains dominant.

Press Clippings

The issue includes several press clippings from various dates and publications:

  • MAROC-SOIR (17/3/78): Reports a lawsuit filed against the CIA by "Ground Saucer Watch" for allegedly concealing evidence of UFO existence.
  • WASHINGTON (AFP) (Date not specified, but context suggests 1978): Two astronomers from Kitt Peak Observatory suggest that habitable planets might be more common than previously thought, with a significant percentage of stars having planetary companions.

  • LE PARISIEN (November 1977): Documents and films of UFOs were presented to Allen Hynek in Mexico, leading to a call for international UFO information centers.

Aviation Mystery: Engine Failure in the Bermuda Triangle

Another article details a perplexing incident involving a National Airlines Boeing 727-200 in the Bermuda Triangle region on January 27th. The aircraft experienced a sudden, sequential shutdown of all three engines at 33,000 feet, followed by an equally inexplicable restart between 10:15 and 10:18 AM. Experts, including Charles Berlitz, suggest electromagnetic forces or infrasound might be responsible. The FAA and National Airlines declared the cause a mystery, as the plane was flying in calm weather and subsequent investigations found no contamination or mechanical defects. The aircraft later flew the same route without incident.

Recurring Themes and Editorial Stance

The recurring theme throughout this issue is the global prevalence of UFO sightings and the persistent mystery surrounding their nature and origin. The magazine appears to adopt a stance of documenting these events without definitive conclusions, presenting witness accounts and photographic evidence for the reader's consideration. The editorial stance seems to be one of open inquiry into unexplained aerial phenomena, acknowledging the scientific challenges in resolving such cases, as exemplified by the quote regarding the Bents Basin case: "We know the object existed, but what it was, its nature, flesh and blood or not, we don't know."

This issue of "OVNI" (UFO) focuses on unexplained aerial phenomena reported in Spain and Italy during late 1977 and early 1978. The magazine features reports, drawings, and witness testimonies of various sightings, along with commentary from ufological organizations.

Two Luminous Triangles in the Sky of Guillena (Seville)

This report details an observation made in the second half of May 1978, in the village of Guillena, 16 kilometers north of Seville, Spain. The witness, Mrs. Pilar Punta Gonzalez, a 60-year-old woman who owns a bar with her husband, was cleaning up late at night when she heard a "ssst" sound. Initially thinking it was someone on the roof or a water pressure issue, she looked towards the sky and saw a triangular object moving at high altitude. It had a fiery color, was as large as the full moon, and seemed to be moving in a north-east direction. She then noticed a second, similar phenomenon approaching from the west. The two objects crossed paths and continued moving side-by-side towards the southeast. The phenomenon disappeared from view due to the limited visual angle of the witness's courtyard. The "ssst" sound diminished as the objects moved away. The report and drawing are attributed to Antonio Moya Cerpa, with investigators Joachim Mateos Nogales, Manuel Filpo Cabana, José Antonio Gutiérrez Reina, and Antonio Moya Cerpa involved.

A UFO Took a Stroll Above Milan (Italy)

This article reports on a UFO sighting in Milan, Italy, that occurred on a Wednesday night in May 1978. The event led many Milanese to believe that "contact" was imminent, drawing parallels to Steven Spielberg's film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." The first witness was a police officer on duty at Linate Airport, who alerted the control tower. The tower personnel observed a strange object that initially appeared to be an airplane with its lights on, but radar later refuted this. The UFO came from the northwest and, after some maneuvers over the airport, headed towards the center of Milan. Pedestrians reportedly saw the object approach the Pirelli skyscraper, where it is believed to have extinguished its lights. The strange flying saucer then moved away, and the anticipated "close encounter" did not occur. The information was sourced from the Efe Agency.

UFO Over a Forest Zone

This report describes an observation made between February 18 and 20, 1978, around 8 PM, by a forest ranger. For four minutes, the ranger observed a luminous ring that repeatedly descended and ascended over the summit of a hill approximately one kilometer away. The total diameter of the phenomenon was estimated to be smaller than the full moon. The center of the object was dark, and the surrounding rings gave the impression of a rainbow, with colors ranging from dark orange, blue, and dark green. No sound was heard, and the phenomenon dissipated when it descended towards the hill. Three days later, the witness went to the site and found a crushed cork oak sapling and a circular area where stones appeared to have been swept. This incident occurred in a 6,000-hectare government-owned forest area, about 11 kilometers from Aznalcollar, in the province of Seville, southern Spain. Investigators were Joaquin Mateos Nogales and Antonio Moya Cerpa, with reports and drawings by Antonio Moya Cerpa.

Pendulum Sphere Over a Sevillian Courtyard

This account details an event on Saturday, November 26, 1977, around 10 PM, when a mother of a family saw a luminous sphere, about 40 centimeters in size, descend into her courtyard. The sphere had a flame-like feature above it and oscillated like a pendulum. The following day, a round trace was observed on the cement floor of the courtyard, which dried much faster than the surrounding area, even during rainy days. The edges of the leaves of a nearby flower pot were also burnt. Five days later, at 2 AM, a sound similar to the one heard during the previous observation was heard, and a very dazzling white light was seen. These incidents took place in Olivares, province of Seville, southern Spain. The witness is identified as Dona Ascension Mateos Cid.

Errata

An errata is noted for issue number 48, page 10, concerning an article titled "Analysis of 'Inside the Space Vessels!'". The size of the objects mentioned should be "25 cm to 4 meters" and not "0.15 cm to 4 meters."

Commentary and Ufological Context

The issue includes commentary on the Milan sighting, suggesting that local authorities might have initiated emergency services due to the extraterrestrial contact rumors. References are made to the Sevillian daily "ABC" from May 1978. The translation from Spanish is by Antonio Moya Cerpa.

Monsieur Alfonso Contreras Rosado, president of the Andalusian Society of Futurology, Ufology and Parapsychology (S.A.F.U.P.) and director of the Radio Nationale d'Espagne program "Nous ne sommes pas seuls" (We are not alone) in Seville, is quoted. He states that "Five hundred Andalusian ufologists are ready for 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind.'" He also mentions that "There are thirty ufological groups in Andalusia." Furthermore, he highlights a significant crossing point (orthotenic) in the Peninsula near La Palma del Condado, Huelva province. He also refers to a recent case in Seville province involving a supposed landing in a forest area between Géréna and Aznalcollar, where ground traces and a burnt plant were found.

Recurring Themes and Editorial Stance

The recurring themes in this issue are UFO sightings, particularly those involving unusual shapes like triangles and spheres, and the physical evidence or effects they leave behind. The editorial stance appears to be one of reporting and investigating these phenomena, presenting witness accounts and expert opinions from the ufological community. The magazine aims to document and analyze these events, providing a platform for discussion and information sharing within the field of ufology.
