UFO Sightings and Reports

Mitchell states that he was contacted by descendants of Roswell witnesses who provided credible accounts of alien bodies. He attributes the cover-up to a 'military industrial complex' and organizations driven by profit, suggesting that control of UFO technology could be immensely lucrative.

Brazilian UFO Disclosure Brazil has been actively declassifying UFO documents, now covering the 1980s, in addition to previously released files from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Over 4,000 pages have been disclosed. A significant event was the 'Official UFO Night' on May 19, 1986, when 21 spherical objects were detected, jamming air traffic over major Brazilian airports and prompting the scrambling of Mirage and F5 jets. The Air Force minister publicly addressed the event. The Brazilian Committee of UFO Researchers (CBU) has been instrumental in this disclosure campaign. Furthermore, the Brazilian Ministry of Defense officially invited UFO researchers to discuss UFO phenomena, a move that stemmed from the Iguassu Falls Letter requesting disclosure and the creation of an official UFO investigation committee.

UK Ministry of Defence UFO Files Newly released files from the UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD) reveal why the UFO desk was closed in December 2009. The files indicate that the desk served 'no defence purpose' and diverted resources from 'more valuable defence-related activities'. Despite a surge in reported sightings, the MoD stated it had 'no opinion on the existence or otherwise of extra-terrestrial life' and ceased responding to reported sightings. The released documents include reports of 'discoid' shapes at Stonehenge, sightings near Blackpool, and a letter from a school child asking about aliens.

Australian UFO Sighting A green UFO was sighted over Ipswich, Australia, and recorded on video by Arthur Sollitt. The object was described as morphing from a rectangle to a saucer shape. Experts and the witness were baffled by the sighting.

UFOs over Wales A personal account describes seeing three bright lights in the sky that moved in a triangular formation and then flew off at high speed, suggesting they were not stars or conventional aircraft.

Russian Flying Saucer Sighting Two schoolgirls in Khakassia, Russia, captured incredible shots of a classic saucer-shaped flying object, leaving onlookers stunned.

Astronomy and Exoplanets

Potentially Habitable 'Super-Earths' An international team of scientists discovered three potentially habitable planets orbiting the star Gliese 667C, located 22 light-years from Earth. These 'super-Earths' are within the star's habitable zone, where liquid water could exist. The discovery suggests that potentially habitable planets may be more common than previously thought.

UK Scientists Join Forces for Alien Life Search Following the closure of the UK's UFO hotline, scientists from 11 UK institutions have formed a network to scan the universe for signs of extraterrestrial life. This initiative aims to share expertise in radio and light broadcasts and develop methods for decoding potential alien messages.
