The Dick Miller Story – Part III

The article continues the narrative of Dick Miller's experiences with the Detroit Saucer Club and his pursuit of communication with extraterrestrial entities. On September 28, 1954, Miller and friends received a powerful signal on the 11-meter band, which they interpreted as an imperative message to "Go to speak with Adamski involving light ray. Definite contacts are being planned. Your area site of landing. Masar, Masar, Masar." This message reinforced previous communications about a light-beam apparatus and mentioned 'Masar' again.

Despite an unsuccessful attempt to contact George Adamski, who was on a lecture tour, Miller continued working on his light-beam equipment. The article explains the concept of light-beam communication, drawing parallels to its use during World War II for secure transmissions, emphasizing its directional nature and the use of photo-electric tubes for reception.

Five days later, on October 3, 1954, Miller and his friends intercepted another message on the 16-meter band, transmitted in International Morse Code. This message, from entities identified as 'Space Friends', stated, "Lazurus K5 mission on Erra completed. Proceed as directed. Will talk with you as planned. Whereabouts near Saras. Keep date. Leslie need not be interested. Only contact in Detroit. Proceed talk with him. Will advise after talking with K5. Interference very bad. OK to continue. Will need help. Continue building new type receiver; units must be ready for people soon. Landing on Masar; others there waiting. You are to await further plan. Williamson coming soon. Is going to tell of new report. Be sure and be present. He needs your advice. Will continue to transmit this message 'til all receive it. You will soon meet the fellow Brothers." The message indicated that 'Lazurus' was a Space Person, 'Saras' was Earth in the Solex Mal language, 'Leslie' was Desmond Leslie (author and co-author with Adamski), and 'Williamson' was George Hunt Williamson, who was scheduled to lecture in Detroit.

Two days later, on October 5, 1954, Miller and friends drove to a cemetery near Ann Arbor, hoping to receive another message. As they were about to leave, a strong radio signal came through, described as erasing all noise and static. The message, received on the 11-meter band, stated, "Greetings to you. We are on a higher plane. When your people reach a higher stage of evolution the other wonders of the universe will be open to you. We have a very complete knowledge of the other planets in your solar system. We are aware of your government's plans to test, and continue to await verification of the contact with the man and hope for truth to conquer. We can impress your minds with our thought. We will tell you of the next contact. Your people are not yet prepared for our coming. Listen to your lecturers; they will have much to tell you about us. Continue to work together. Continue with light-ray equipment. Our plans are sufficient. Do not despair; as yet no personal contact permissable with your group. We know your minds; perhaps in the future one can be arranged. To answer your (mental) question, Dick, "Yes, we are on the red planet. We will speak with you again. Adonai."

Following this message, multiple saucers were observed in the sky, clearly visible against the overcast sky. Approximately twelve craft were arranged in groups of three. One object continued to glow brightly before moving at tremendous speed and disappearing. The message confirmed that 'Adonai' was a farewell expression in the Solex Mal tongue and that the 'red planet' referred to Mars, indicating the Space People's ability to read thoughts.

Maldek, The Lost Planet

This section presents a message received by Dick Miller via tensor beam on December 7, 1955, from an entity named Hatonn. Hatonn describes the history of Earth, stating that life was imported from Jupiter and that early humans, the Adamic race, were God-like beings. A period of degradation and abomination led to a glacial age, after which intelligent tribes evolved into Lemurians and Atlanteans.

The message details the conflict between the Atlanteans and Lemurians, exacerbated by the arrival of the Satonians, a race from a negative plane of existence, who usurped control. This led to a war and the destruction of both continents. The survivors migrated to South America, forming ancient civilizations. Hatonn states that the confederation intervened to evacuate the 'forces of light and truth' to Venus and other controlled spaces, while the Satonians destroyed the remaining civilizations and left.

Another message, received by Dick Miller and attributed to Monka, discusses the planet Maldek, which Monka states was the fourth planet from the sun and had a civilization greater than Earth's. Maldek's destruction was caused by its inhabitants' lust, greed, and hatred, leading to a war of nuclear weapons. The message warns Earthlings about the destructive potential of elements like cadmium, aluminum, and lithium, which are components of 'cal-nutronite', the substance that caused Maldek's destruction. Monka urges Earth to choose a path of co-operation and service over destruction.

Mystery Dots Cross Moon

This section contains a letter from Floyd W. Rickords of Hollywood, California, detailing his observations of the moon through a telescope. Rickords reports seeing black dots moving from left to right across the moon's surface at high speeds, disappearing and reappearing. He also observed extremely bright flashes, lasting for a second or two, coming from the moon's surface, which appeared explosive and without pattern.

• Flying Saucers Serious Business: A report from the Inglewood Daily News (February 27, 1960) states that the Air Force issued a new warning to its commands to treat UFO sightings as "serious business" and to be on the alert for physical or material evidence.
